  1. For me it's a no thanks. $1800 USD is about $2700 AUD and for 95% of Australian user's it's a definite yeah, nah , you keep it. That means far too expensive to even consider.

  2. I was waiting on the pixel fold but ended up getting a galaxy fold instead. I've had this phone for close to a year now and was excited to see the new pixel…until I saw the price. At that price for a first generation product I would never touch it. There were rumors of this being a $1000 phone which would be super appealing at that price but at 1800 it needs to meet and exceed the samsung for me to even care.

Also my samsung has been a tank (surprisingly) and I have 0 intention of buying another phone until this one no longer works at all.

  3. I just don’t like folding anything. I don’t like folding wallets. I don’t like flip. That was my appeal to the iPod that turned into the iPhone. But I will say. My phone before the iPhone 3G was the LG Rumor. It had a full keyboard. I really enjoyed that. Maybe a slide would appeal to me over a fold.

  4. I just don't know, google is such a pain in the ass when listening to customers. They just don't listen to the symmetrical bezel that we are begging for. 🙄 Let see on next pixel series,

  5. an entry level FHD 90 screen on pixel7, plus a pixel7pro camera set, and a midrange or worse SoC tensor G2 for 1800 bucks, thats a dead sell unless drops to the same price for a 7pro.

  6. I'm sorry too expensive for me. It doesn't even feel like it's something too different from the other foldable phones

  7. After owning the galaxy fold 3 for a couple of years, i'd be very wary about buying another folding phone…it developed a thick black bar right down the middle of the screen which means i'm left using the narrow front screen

  8. I was gonna make the switch to iPhone but now I wanna see how this device plays out, was also looking for a tablet.

  9. They are opening with a Pixel Watch for free leading me to believe this phone will be HEAVILY discounted fairly shortly after it is released. I'll wait and see what they offer for my Pixel 7 as a trade in.

  10. $1800 fully subsidized with a plan I said that is the most expensive phone in the world and it doesn't appeal to business customers cause it doesn't have a keyboard. Which makes it not a very good email machine. Now It may sell very well or not who knows.

  11. coming from a guy who had to replace his pixel 7 pro screen TWICE you're doomed if that drops and breaks. $350 is gonna be pocket change

  12. I love your content, and the sneakers. I stumbled across your review of Bose companion 2 speakers from years ago, as I just bought a pair. It’s quite amazing to see how far you’ve come. Keep up the great work.
