  1. I really want to see competitors make something better and cheaper

I also love the screen thing for movies and gaming so you wouldn’t have to pay for big high quality screens and monitors

  2. I bet the prescription lenses add-on is extra – basically an extra tax for those with poor eyesight….also means you can't borrow someone else's.

  3. For anyone fallowing VR gaming (PS VR 2, Quest 2) and the technology development this is a mighty tech demo. At that point is hey WWDC this is what we thing AR/VR could look like. If you want our first AR/VR Dev kit you can have it for 3499$. This device is super slick and nice but after all is a AR/VR dev kit. The price considering the tech in it is reasonable but it's not a mainstream device. Still a lovely tech demo.

  4. I was watching a movie on my quest 2 on a five hour flight and people were (rightfully) staring at me like I had just landed on Earth from an undiscovered exoplanet at the fringe of our galaxy 😂😂😂

  5. I could see me buying that, but it's very expensive and I'm not in the U.S. May have dodged a bullet here. 😀
Yet I'm surprised that it was not announced with the M3 if it's not released this year, presuming that the M3 will be more battery-efficient.

  6. As equality drops the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. Ditching the crowds and marketing to the rich alone will start to make more sense to more companies, unfortunately.

  7. Assuming it is a good product that finds use in day-to-day activities, it might become another device that distracts us from our real lives and keeps us distracted. Similar to what smartphones have done already.

  8. I guess this is more of a showoff product than something that will sell at all. At that price and taking into account what it is, very few will buy it.

  9. Samsung isn't half as elitist in its pricing as Apple, and I still won't waste my money even on an older Samsung phone because I think they're excessively overpriced, regardless of their quality and features. So guess where I stand on this or any Apple product. Sure it looks stunning, but I'm a price/quality consumer with a limited budget.
