3. You guys seem to be forgetting how volatile the market can be, last year I seen my favourite coin do a 20% increase in 10 minutes.

9. This "manipulation" mindset is starting to get seriously old! Man, just give it up – OK, there IS "manipulation" by the "Illuminati" for their "agenda" – yes, we all know that – BUT for crying out loud attributing every single thing that happens to some global conspiracy is GOING TO MAKE YOU SERIOUSLY ILL !!! It is an unhealthy mindset to get into and it could cause you to make bad and stupid decisions. Ask yourself what IN DETAIL is really happening, not just some catch-all "manipulation" and "agenda" that is done by some shadowy group somewhere.
   The present market moves are likely to have a lot to do with the OTC market. In the OTC market large purchases of Bitcoin are made from one party to another – the order books on the exchanges don't see these massive trades, and thus the exchange prices are not affected. But something MAJOR has happened in the the market, its just its effect has not yet permeated through. People use OTC because if you think about it, buying a huge quantity on exchanges will shift the price up immediately, and so they end up paying more, and likewise selling a huge amount on exchanges will immediately put the price down and so they would get less.
   Its when people suddenly realize its not quite so easy to get Bitcoin that the price shoots up, ie a lack of sellers. This price is organic I believe, it is a cascade effect, short traders realized they needed to buy back the Bitcoin to pay off their debt, before that price went up any further. It suddenly dawned on them it wasn't so easy to get bargain priced Bitcoin any more, and then the rest of the shorts starting flooding in like a herd of elephants, to cut their losses. When major purchasers have been buying up Bitcoin that makes Bitcoin more scarce, and these buyers are long-term holders, they ain't selling at no $7000 because they know their Bitcoin is worth a whole lot more than that. And so the pessimistic shorts were squeezed by the proverbials, and it serves them right for trying to drive the Bitcoin price down and hurting so many who have sacrificed so much to own some Bitcoin. Yes, this is justice – this is the market at work – Illuminati is only part of a complex equation. Please go more lightly on the "manipulation" theory – it really explains nothing and leaves everybody in the dark – THINK with your OWN brain and don't listen to cliches and scare-mongers – its bad for your health.

16. i think its high frequency trading.this is manipulation thru computer algorythms.if you login to coinbase every chart for all the cryptos look exactly the SAME.its just not possible.some days they even pump at the exact same minute.there must be some computer that reads news. all these markets arent based on buy and sell orders.just my opinion.

19. So u say there were short contracts on Bitfinex and i read an article on independent.co.uk that the price spike originated from Bitfinex within 30 minutes and last year there was that Bitfinex Tether nonsense and also they were linked to money laundering in poland… Lol.
