Hey Kirby what if your a newbie to buying alt coins and I bought one without using stop loss….what could I do ?
I need to correct a tip I gave here a few days ago. I said it might be better to use a stop-loss of -2% and take-profit of 3% than the more common -1% and 2%. Well it was just conjecture at that time but I was recently doing some stuff in Excel with historical data and it looks like that would be a bad idea. It looks like it's best have a stop-loss of -1% or even -0.5% with a take-profit of 2% to 4%. A stop-loss lower than -1%, like -2%, looks like it would be pretty disastrous if my interpretation is correct. I hope nobody took my earlier tip. I guess it was actually more of a speculation than a tip.
if you sell anticipating another leg down, the market could actually take off and never go back down and you'd be stuck buying in higher. Not worth the risk IMO, just HODL
