  1. I loved it
Yah the movie relied to much on CGI which made it less realistic but the story and atmosphere were spot on i loved the theme of the movie n the story of connection between other sequel. ….
It Should rated atleast 7.5 your very wrong here IGN

  2. Agreed with IGN’s review mostly, other than the fact that I thought the comedic relief might’ve been the weakest part of the film.

If you’re going to see it in theaters, try to catch it at a Dolby Cinema. Because the film is so shadowy and visually dark, I thought the Dolby Vision definitely helped you make out tiny details that might otherwise be missed. Plus, someone in another comment said that their sound was turned down too low in their theater—this is definitely not the case with the Atmos at a Dolby Cinema. This was my first time at one (I’ve done Atmos a few times before and El Capitan Theater, which has Dolby Vision/Atmos, but isn’t technically a Dolby Cinema), and I plan to try to go to as many horror movies as I can in them in the future.

By the way, the reviewer says it has ties to every single Conjuring universe movie. What were Nun’s ties to the first Annabelle?

  3. Saw this movie and definitely mediocre, at best. It was literally the same scare over and over again. Valak is a cool character with a lot of potential but I think this movie fell pretty flat.

  4. I just got back from the theaters! I thought The Nun was GREAT! I'm a huge fan of The Conjuring Universe, I have been for years, and I do agree that the storyline and direction could've been a lot stronger with more potential. I have no doubt it would've been Conjuring-level quality if James Wan directed and wrote it. However, that doesn't take away from the eerie, creepy atmosphere, the great acting, the unique scares, the amazing soundtrack, great level of suspenseful, and the terrifying scenes with the faceless nuns and of course Valak! I give it a 4 out of 5 stars! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
