  1. The plagiarist didn't just do so one time. After this came out, people reviewed his past works and it was found he had been doing this for YEARS!

These "video game journalists" are given these reviews to make, are expected to publish multiple every week, and don't take the time (or have the required skill, cf. CupHead review tutorial debacle) to do it properly. It's also much easier in their field of work, compared to something along the lines of YouTube, to "fake it" since they don't have to show proof for anything they do (apart from screenshots, sometimes a 1 minute video clip, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's sometimes someone else that does this part of the work).

And from what I heard people of "the industry" say, they don't really communicate with one another for these reviews. It's pretty much an assignment that barely gets spell-checked before it's published.

  2. I'm just wondering if IGN are actually gamers, to know the fact that they have been poorly reviewing a lot of games a make a lot of mistakes, but it is what it is, IGN stills sucks

  3. Ever year they do is plagiarizing reviews, telling people that whole franchise is a terrible that have been for 25 years and now this WTF

  4. Sorry but he made a good point. There was not enough content for a 60$ game, even if the quality of that content was very good. I mean it would be more faire for a 40-30$ price tag.

  5. All that I consume from IGN are Gamescoop and Nintendo Voice Chat, but here on Youtube. I haven't gone into IGN's website for any gaming news in forever.
Although the other day I did read an artivle from 2015 of some crybaby complaining about Bloodborne being too hard and blaming the game for his incompetence to find shortcuts and learn basic mechanics.

  6. There is no excuse for their incompetence. These journalists don't seem to be interested in video games. It's RE2 REMAKE!!! take this shit seriously!!

  7. That is always IGN. They never take responsibility for anything they do wrong. Btw, many writers at IGN have stated openly on podcasts they don't need to finish a game to review it. Justin, Sam, Greg, Colin, and Daemon… probably others. So, I'm not sure why you're just now finding out about this!

Also, clearly you dont know Daemon. He is very, very high up on the IGN food chain. But, that is 100% his persona. He has the mindset that he is never wrong and always knows best.

  8. Lemme get this straight. Hey beat the first half of the game, reset the game instead of playing the second half, and then complained the game was the same. Fuckin hell, you can't spell ignorant without IGN.

  9. I don’t think this is necessarily Daemon’s fault, I think this is a problem that arises when these websites rush reviewers to get the review out first

  10. Dude I couldn't agree more the second worst to me is Polygon just read what the "reviewer" said about Kingdom Hearts III, she was trying so hard to be edgy and nit picky it made me cringe, thank god I don't give two tits and a gravy about game reviews, nice video btw.

  11. Agree with every word. You get paid to do job, so it’s inexcusable that they don’t do their job.

For a long time now the only reason I look at these sites just to make fun of them

  12. Most reviewers did the same thing with Nier Automata, didn't play the "second play through" aka the rest of the game. Complaining the game was too short, or felt incomplete.

  13. Very wack. Because I’ve played 6 hours of this game now and… still haven’t finished but I’d give it a 10. One of the best games ever… anyone giving this less than an 8.8 to begin with would have me like WTF. This dude’s not hardcore enough to be a games critic.

  14. Funny that we’re talking dead cells and resident evil 2 cuz really this has been the only game to pull me off dead cells on the switch, holy shit I couldn’t get enough of it lol but this shit is fire really brings me back to playing the original as a kid ? really agree with everything in this video tho these fucking idiots get paid to review these games no excuse to say oh I’m just not gonna finish it like a fucking book report in 5th grade and just throw somthing together where the teacher gives you a C cuz she knows you didn’t read the fucking book gimme a break

  15. Why can't everyone who runs and works at IGN drop dead? I am not sorry at all for wishing death on those clickbait scumbag talentless pieces of trash who plagiarize articles and are bad at video games. The world would be a better place with IGN out of business. Less trash articles to worry about.
