  1. It's no bad for Metroid they might do it like mk9 how it became a reboot and it was awesome and they continue to mkx and mk11and continues with the story.

  2. No Switch Price Drop after 2 years………. fekk me was hoping it would drop atleast 10-20% so be comfortably affordable not just over affordable like it is right now.

  3. That vast majority of talent responsible for the Metroid Prime series (including the main project-directors who now work for Microsoft) have all gone. This idea that Retro Studios is going to "save-the-day" is just a PR spin-move by Nintendo.

The new crew may very well do a great-job. I'm just saying that people should not expect it to be great JUST BECAUSE it is being developed by a studio that has had (and continues to have) high turnover and has made a major game in 5 years.

  4. Do you have a yoga channel by any chance? MP4s delay was announced when they handed fans a logo as the announcement for the games existence. I’m glad it’s scrapped. Let’s hope the new one is open world and 3rd person.

  5. My opinion. They should not have announced Metroid 4 so early. Smash ultimate did it right. Not telling people straight after developers started but creating hype just before the game came out. Nobody has really talked about Metroid before today but when smash was announced, you would get videos and blog posts like “only 157 days until smash!” That’s quite a while, but the hype of it being a 2018 release kept it going.

  6. If Metroid was completely cancelled, id say thats bad news. This restart isnt bad news to me, its unfortunate, but i think everyone is willing to wait if Nintendo wants to perfect the game and make it great from the very beginning

  7. But how is the Metroid Prime 4 development restart bad? Look how many setbacks BOTW had. Not only was it an amazing game. But also game of the year and the best game I'll ever play. Worth the wait for what will be a high quality Nintendo game.
