i don't know if id call the bosses challenging. maybe I'm still in the early parts.

you can get across the map in like 2 minutes from anywhere. There’s one location with a head you can ride and it takes you across the entire map, and it’s really easy to get to from almost anyerhee
1. All of the cons are invalid because metroids story was next to nothing and bland environment? BLAND ENVIRONMENT?! HAVE YOU OPENED UP YOUR GODDAMN EYES.
2. This game should actually get extra brownie points for the fact that it was made by ONE PERSON while all the big budget multi million dollar cods you review on a regular basis get solid nines and high eights yet a game made by a single person gets nitpicked the way it did?! Hell I wouldn’t even consider them nitpicks it’s false criticisms. I get it that a 7.9 is high especially for an indie game but im sorry. This game deserves a solid 9 at LEAST

The way the guy talked about the game, I figured he was gonna give it a 6, maybe a 6.5, BUT NO, THIS IS IGN!! Every game in existence is worth a 7.5 or up!
Weird critique here towards this little gem. Maybe it wants NOT to be an exact Metroid type of game and also provides its own challenges. And if the game is nice, exploration is no big deal.
Some of these complaints are like bashing Halo for having too much shooting
I love Metroidvanias but disliked almost everything about this game – music, graphics and story. Everything is a muddy mess.

Amazing game…. idk why but I started to play these indi games and for the first time in forever do games ACTUALLY give me a good time.. just like I remember it when i was a kid…
I only wish if this game had mouse aiming (something like Owlboy) …. that would IMO be amazing…. but I understand why it doesn't…

What is it with ign and 7.9? Wonder Woman, Captain America Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 and this got 7.9/10 or 7.8/10. Just round it up to an 8.0 or down to a 7.5 if you must.

I don't think this is a good review properly done. Instead of talking about what the aspects of the game and doing it justice with an honest analysis, it just keeps comparing it to more and more about Metroid.
