  1. Normally I don’t hope for this, but for Tolkien is a special case. This needs to sorta be a cradle to grave story, what’s so unique about Tolkien’s work is that he encompasses so much of his life’s experience to create the books that we all know and love. It’s wasn’t just because he was devoutly catholic, or just the studies he did in college, or his experiences in the trenches that took so many away or the wife and children he had. It was all of that, that shaped him and his writing
