Tested: Hover Camera Quadcopter Drone

We review the Hover Camera Passport, a lightweight foldable quadcopter that uses computer vision technology to track your face and body as it flies around you. We love its sturdy compact design and ease of use, and take the drone out for test flights around the city. Here’s what we think of the resulting footage.

  1. I would like to suggest the best book on Drone or Quadcopter making. "The DIY Drones for the Evil Genius" book https://www.onlinebooksreview.com/articles/build-drone-book#1259861465 shows you how to construct the most powerful drone from very inexpensive parts. All the guideline are given very specifically and with step by step explanations. It offers you how to add personalized features and make yourself a full-fledged pilot. It covers not only the safety and mechanics but also shows you a perfect drone design and complete assembly. It will make yourself more efficient for implementation of your idea.

  2. I,d like to buy a drone with “duct fans” coz they give me an impression of “safety first”. But then secondly, how about the price tag? Is so much more expensive than many other drones with the same physical form factors. I think a price drop of 50% is really, really needed.

Anyway, thanks a lot for this review video. It has given me valuable information for my purchase plan. Hope u could give a few video of its competitions later on. Thumbs up for your video man!

  3. Design is amazing and just out of the box, You don't have to worry about propellers at all and on top of that the foldable approach is awesome I hope in next version they improve video quality and add more sensors to it

  4. at 1:10 What the hell is a miliamp hour?! Do some research about lipo batteries before you cover it on such a watched channel. You lost major respect points, Norman

Other than that, Norman made a good review where it fails in a lot of ways. For the price, it is definitely not the quad to get. I usually follow TheRcSaylors or Ken Heron youtube channels for quad features and for the best bang for your buck on quads.

  5. For $350 that camera looks like complete ass, and the drones ability to move and film looks barely usable at best. I would pay $100 for this tops. DJI drones might be expensive, but at least the footage they get looks damn near perfect (from what I've seen, I'm too cheap to buy one).
