  1. Once HTC stopped including headphones jacks in their phones, I stopped giving there devices the time of day. One reason, Samsung is on top is because they give customers want they want!

  2. 1. They don't have Samsung's marketing budget 2. Even though they were normally ahead of the curve with features the implementations were not solid. Attempting tech before they were solid 3. Not maintaining the features that set them apart from the competition. 4 Trying to follow the herd…..which is a follow on from #3…..Sad really… Their last fire phone was the HTC One X+…and it was downhill after that…

  3. Use to really LOVE HTC. Had the Tilt I. I think it was possible to improve the camera performance with an update but HTC decided not to release it. So that left a bitter taste in my mouth.

  4. I said it before and I'll say it again. I bought the m10 or 10 3 months after launch for 99.99 on a 2 year contract. I'm typing on it right now. By far and I mean it. Best phone I have ever ever used. It still lasts me all day. It's built like a tank. The camera is still awesome. The display. The dac is unbelievable in the headphone Jack. I can honestly say I don't even desire a upgrade. After 3 years thats saying something. Phone still runs marshmallow. And it still is fast I am blown away to be honest. So underrated.

  5. Been using HTC phones as my primary phones starting with HTC HD2, and loved each of them. Right now using HTC U12+ and I love this phone as well; it's very unique in a way. IMO it's just the poor marketing to be blamed.

  6. It might not have saved them from the inevitable, but if HTC's devices, after the 10, had headphone jacks it would have sold better. I know I would have at least bought the u11. I have two HTC 10s and they're probably the last HTC devices I'll buy. Carries wouldn't carry HTC phones either. OH WELL.

  7. The lack of advertising was probably the final nail in the coffin, i mean i live in holland and i cant go a day without hearing “samsung galaxy s9” on the radio or social media

  8. HTC will be out of business within 5 years. I had an HTC one M8 before, worst smartphone I've ever had. Camera was total crap, and the battery would shut down at 70%.

  9. My first smartphone was a HTC Desire… its was so cute! a very decent smart phone back then. Then I upgraded to a Samsung S2, S4, Sony Xperia, LG, Oppo and back to a Samsung.
I ended up giving my HTC desire to my older bro has a quite labour intensive job and he broke alot of phones. He had the HTC for ages, but it was so slow and laggy after 5 years. And it ran out of space so quickly!

  10. Loved the M7 but couldn't find HTC phones U11 or U12 in UK on contract as i couldn't afgord upfront and they never replied to my tweet for help. They have fallen far. Maybe a comeback like Nokia?

  11. I miss my HTC One. That was my favorite phone. Great speakers great phone. Camera could of been better but the camera on a phone isn't the deal breaker for me. I wish they would just do what they did back then, just make a goods phone. Who cares what samsung is doing, be HTC again. I'm sad now that I watched this video.
