  1. “Stadia will be more powerful than the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro combined…”

But does it have exclusives like what the PS4 has? Nice try Google… secure an exclusive first before you start bragging.

  2. It's funny that people support this is really banking in 5G to work and be reliable and better than home Internet. Probably. But the problem is that internet(in the US), there are too many variables for it to be successful. Data caps is the major one. Games are getting bigger in data size and its gonna require more bandwidth just to run those games. Yeah they could compress the games but the power claim will be false. Yeah they could push much better quality but its gonna use aot of data

  3. Stadia is LIMITED BY 3 things : INTERNET CONNECTION , LOGIN ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT , POWER to power your device …. remove Login Access, you cannot play Theirs GAMES that YOU NO LONGER OWN… no NET , you cannot play … no Power , its obvious …

On XboxXBOX360Xbox ONEPS1PS2PS3PS4NESSNESGENESISATARIAMIGAPC etc …. YOU only need a Power Cord to play YOUR GAMES (and a TV ,duh)…. remove net , you can play your Games … remove Login , you can play your GAMES … and you OWN PHYSICAL COPIES OF YOUR GAMES

    Beat that Stadia !

  4. The reason why "Tera flops" and other words of power mattered in the console marketing was because the power of a console was the only thing restricting what can be achieved and the user experience, for Google it's not the case, it's your internet connection, so throwing big "10 Tera flops" may seem big buts means nothing if you have 10 mb/s internet speed.

  5. They are the first ones trying something new, cut them some slack. If you think about it, many games already are close to useless without an internet connection and the stuff in steam you do not own anymore or less than you would the games on this platform. I think it has potential.

  6. My problem is what happens if my internet goes down or lags for a few hours? That's it, tough luck buddy no games for you? What if I wanna go vacation? I'm in my hotel but I didnt bring my entire computer and monitor setup so I guess I'm done. Meanwhile, very easy to just whip out my Switch. Hell, not hard to pack my small ps4 pro or xbox one x and connect it to the the HDTV they have in my room

My problem with this is not having my games whenever I need it

  7. Stadia is only as powerful as your ISP allows it to be.

Considering the poor state of ISPs in the US, unless Google is including Fiber Internet with it (which they are not), this is doomed to failure before it even launches, not only for lack of stability and bandwidth, but also the fact that ISPs have been charging people data overages like crazy.

This is an automatic pass for me.

  8. The fact that the data stream will be compressed completely undermines there argument. The original hdmi standard (1080p 60hz) even supports 3.6 Gbit of video throughput. I am pretty sure no one has a connection speed of that readily available.

  9. Microsoft is working on something similar they knew something like this was coming they knew since they launch the Xbox that’s why they been working on the cloud now everything makes sense they were getting ready to complete with google not Sony they knew google was coming with something powerful to compete with them so now both are gonna compete while Sony is gonna die well that’s if they not working on this technology
