IT'S FINALLY HERE. UAVFUTURES 2019 RACE BUILD. less budget MORE PERFORMANCE. Hope you guys enjoy. THIS THING IS SERIOUSLY AMAZING TO FLY. All parts linked in description as well as GIVEAWAY details so some lucky people can win them : )
I'm not able to devote as much time to FPV as I'd like ; including watching vids etc. . So I notice a definite difference from when I started watching a lot of vids and what I watch now – in the evolution of FPV . The evolution of tech. and how that affects FPV is amazing – the speed at which everything evolves . plus everything is simpler , all the time , more plug n play easier to build than when I started . and I can see that when I watch . and for these builds I love that it's so easy build with a wide variety of parts choices – which equals price level. Oh yeah , how different things are from when I got my flying egg 130 .

Pretty amazing how quick these quads are. Proof will be in how efficient and tuneable they are. Great to see an all out race build too rather than budget!

QUESTION FOR OTHERS… What would your first upgrade be to your equipment, brand new set up, got the Diatone 2019 GT R349 drone so probs looking at specific parts for the drone (propellers, receiver..) or other equipment: goggles, antennas, remote… THANK YOU FOR ANY REPLIES 🙂
Reason for asking I'm new to this, hadn't really heard of the sport before hand and now thanks to your vids I've ordered my first fpv drone. Your videos have loads of details and are at a great pace to follow along without it feeling slow, such great energy in them as well. Thx for all the great videos, keep up the good work.

As for the builds, the arm ends on the Vampire caught my eye.
With the apparent move to 6S power, are you finding that there are still highly competitive pilots running 4S with no plan to change, or have most at the sharp end of the sport made the move over?

They both look great! I love the simplicity of the light build with that stack, but love the motors, akk vtx and the camera on the performance build.
Great video! As someone looking to take the next step and build their own FPV quad this video covers all the bases! Besides how easy these setups make it to put together what I like about these drones and the components is the accompanying instruction video 😉 As a relatively n00b FPV enthusiast that really has the highest value for me as it's hard to know which parts i should choose and where to start. Regarding Racing in 2019 I think the industry needs a way to make it easier for spectators as it's hard to know what is happening. I've seen a couple video's of X class drones which I believe may help there. Once HD VTX technology becomes feasible I think this will also increase spectator involvement.
Really great stuff, dude. ? About the motors, try the 2507… BrotherHobby Avengers (v1 or v2). ? Pawel Spychalski built a 7" with those motors. 1750kv with the 7056 (I guess) DalProp. He flies 4s and it's amazing! ?

I have build something really similar and it probably goes around 150km/h.

I started FPV with a Tero Q215 and I love flying Fpv. It´s so great to chase my rc plane mates and get awsome videos, but the Tero is kinda slow…. I love this build because it is so fast, easy to build and just crazy cool. I think 2019 will be a great year for drone racing. In my cllub there are many people who want to start Fpv and i think the community will grow as fast as it never did here in Germany. Here in the EU we are only allowed to fly FPV when we have another person next to us with trainer mode enabled. Although this is very annoying, it helps coming together.

Great addition to your build videos by having Granger build his version of a drone. Slightly different to the "this is the budget version and this is the slightly better version" type of build video. Liking the popularity of fpv racing with the affordability allowing more people to join the hobby.
Absolutely fantastic builds. I like how cheap it is to get the components to build this. The motors on both are beautiful and look like candy! The "bullet proof" stack is amazing and the whole kit looks easy to build. Awesome job guys!
I must say, I love the 20 x 20 mm format the new FCs come in. I am currently designing my own 36 x 36 F1 grade FC which is arduino compatible and when you go through this process yourself you get a totally new respect for these awesome things. I also love the frames, but that is just because they look cool. Thanks for sharing these builds!
