  1. Vr pyhs won’t be as good as the real think. The best part about it is the mental space you are in that is the most trippy part. But vr combined with say lsd ect will have a really cool effect

  2. All part of the plan to take full control over us. They will try to merge us with AI (Elon Musk wants this so bad) and once they got access to our brain’s neural network, it’s over. They will literally be able to control us like puppets and erase our memories whenever they want. Think about it, we’ve already given up our privacy to the government by using electronics like smartphones and computers that they use to eavesdrop and see us. Will we give up our mind to them as well?

  3. People are scared of being recorded? Stand in a major city and look around you. It won't be long till you spot a camera watching you. Some of these cameras also broadcast and can be viewed by anyone in the world. Better burkha up. Watch out for those ubiquitous ATMs too.

  4. Over the last 15-20 years gaming has become a bigger and more appealing medium to the masses and gaming is definitely helping to usher in the comfortability of inhabiting a VR world on a more permanent basis

  5. Unless it connects directly to your optical nerve which seems possible in theory, in my experience, the screens fatigue my eyes so I don't think vr is sustainable 18 hours a day.

  6. My real life is way too much fun to consider living in virtual reality. If it wasn’t I would kill myself so I wouldn’t be a burden on the resources that all of us real people are trying to use and produce. Why should we work so someone can veg out and do nothing?

  7. Well I would too if I was living in a capitalist dystopia. Life is beautiful, but all it takes is the commodification of every fucking thing and a marketplace to sell it in to ruin human life.
