Nobody is bitching about Dany going mad everyone is bitching about how rushed they came to that conclusion and the inconsistencies with her turn. In the past she never killed innocent people now she's burning them alive wtf so much for the breaker of chains.
I think if Jon 'spent' the night with Daenerys, she wouldn't be a mad queen
Unsubbed for spoilers in title and thumbnail
I'm not upset that she went all Mad Queen because it wasn't really out of nowhere. I'm just disappointed that it was predictable. I could tell where the story was going and wish I don't. Hopefully the ending will be something unexpected and interesting.
I think she thought that none of the people in the castle were innocent. She personally thought those people picked a side and it wasn’t hers.
She locked up her dragons for a whole season when they killed a child…
Feels like a better compromise would be destroying the red keep and all inside. Or even just starting there and then keep going in a blind rage.
Going for civilians first just seems so cold
Josh makes a point “don’t care she became the mad queen; but doesn’t make sense how she got there”.I agree along with the writers screwed up this season just not typical game of thrones, more like game of (that makes no sense) thrones.
She had a temper and it was obvious that she can switch off and go berserk. Stop whining you Hollywood happy ending loving cry babies.
Its MK ULTRA. She got triggered by the bell ringing
No problem with her being mad, problem is shitty writing in the whole season.
Nice video. I think you all made nice arguments.
Really like Terri hosting these discussions, too. You can tell she's a real fan.
maybe in the books. not in this show. there was nothing to suggest this person would jump on her dragons and go light children on fire, especially after saving them from the walking dead. which is why its getting so much backlash. try harder IGN.
Yeah Jon is mad too, he executed a child once.
No she hasnt.
Bran has seen the same vision of Drogon flying over Kings Landing since season 4 episode 2 (the last Episode George wrote) Why did Bran not tell anyone this?
Can you stop calling her Dani the show doesn’t take place in 2019 she actually has a few names that sound so much less lame than Dani
Wow, comparing Dany to Joffrey and Ramsay… wow.
I called this this 2 years ago
Daenerys has been ruthless, arrogant, entitled, naive, ambitious, and very annoying at times. She has made mistakes, has been stubborn, and has not listened. However, there's a huge difference between these traits and madness, especially such an extreme manifestation of madness as the one that was displayed during episode 5.
Remember when she locked up her dragons because they killed a child?
Yep…
??

They did parallel it during the episode's "last time on GOT" opening, there were various voices talking during the closing part of it and you could hear the Mad King saying "Burn them all!"
While she couldn't hear that, it was calling back to what she will do because it's what her father would have done.
Man, it took all the seasons for the GoT fans to oust themselves as sexist, huh?
Almost every single character is dumb, ruined or flat out different, not only Daenerys. And that Deus Ex Machina Dragon who is clearly unlimited with power but the ballistas decided to be useless, how convenient. Just enjoy the explosions, the show makes no sense.
IGN is just so biased.
None of this makes Dany burning the entire city for no reason make sense.
Drogon is actually going to be a female and lay more dragon eggs. Then Drogon and Danny will both be murdered leaving John to take the eggs for a possible sequel arch to take place in the future of Westeros.
My one question is when did dragons go from flying flame throwers to nukes? Fire does not blow up stone walls….they confused dragons with Godzilla
1) the showrunners themselves said she wasn't mad, so they clearly changed course at some point
2) if they were gonna turn her mad, do a decent job executing that change ffs, this is fanfiction level crap
What? Who are these people? The writing/plot armour/character decisions and overall story has been a bag'o'shite.
In “Hi, I’m Erik Voss” we trust for proper GoT breakdown and review.
Women do crazy things when they don't take their midol
The longer gohku holds that shelf, the higher is power level gets.
Anyone else thinks that the dragon will betray Danny for John?
You guys know Ramsey, Stannis, Robert and Tywin killed tons of people and weren't mad right? That's just how the times were , someone betrays you and you kill them. This doesn't just make her mad, you guys are putting modern sentiments into medieval times.
I mean she found out John didn't love her. Then the girl got beheaded in front of her. Her two dragons got killed. Still….. Something is missing.
Did you guys even watcht the show? I doubt that!
That’s dumb and untrue
