1. The difference between HiFi and MP3 is like the difference between stereo and surround sound for me. But you gotta make your headphones work hard for your money. Tweak them with a good EQ to get more out of them ;o)

6. Vinyls have better sound quality as MP3 and most CDs have a depth of 16 bits whereas vinyls have a bit depth of 24 bits. You can increase this bit depth to 32 bits through a tube amplifier or turntable like you have just unboxed. If you're lucky some headphones like those other $40,000 Sennheiser ones have a built in amplifier that'll give you that sound from mp3 straight away. I'll be buying a turntable with Eminem's Kamikaze vinyl soon just so I can hear that quality and live the style!

7. The romance of music is lost on so many today. Before instant gratification, people went to the store, bought an album and spent time listening to it, really listening. These headphones are cheap for what they are. Check out Focal Utopias or Audeze LCD 4. They are double the price for marginal increases in performance.

9. Yeah… you said it right there… If you have the MEANS. $1400 bucks for headphone but you didn't mention the nearly $2200 for the amp and that's even more important. Didn't mention 300 ohms of impedance so you're not going to be able to plug it into your smartphone and get full sound. This is critical info you should have been up front with and not just say it's a bit pricey!

10. I cringed so hard at 2:44 when you stopped the turntable without lifting the needle… I hope that was just for dramatic effect because that may have undesirable results to your vinyl over time!

17. The SENNHEISER HD800's are HORRIBLE SOUNDING headphones, that sound like listening to two empty soda cans in your ears. Absolutely NO BASS, COLD, LIFELESS, AND CLINICAL SOUND, and NO MIDRANGE WARMTH whatsoever. 

    Listening to a pair of Sennheiser HD800's, is the equivalent to sitting at a boring physics class. 

    People, you shouldn't buy a pair of headphone just cause it says "Made In Germany" on the headband, but actually for the way they sound!

31. I just wanted to say. No one who can afford this set will use a normal power cable and RCA line. The power cable and RCA line have to be hi-end as well.
