  1. George R.R. Martin be using this ending of Game of Thrones as a test run. Just wait, in 5-10 years we will be getting Game of Thrones: Brotherhood to course correct the changes! lol

  2. Is it possible that George wanted to see how his ideas were received in the show before writing them in his books? He can now use the feedback to alter his narrative accordingly. Maybe hes been slow in writing because he doesn't want to redo lots of writing that fans will ultimately disprove of. Now he knows what people thought of his 'first draft', he can write a conclusion taking into account everything people did and didnt like. He'll be seen as a genius, writing a book much more in tune with what 'people wanted'.

  3. I wish that if he finishes the books in less than a hundred years we can have more seasons following the books (and I'm not one of those people who signed that petition of remaking season 8, I didn't hate this season I thougt it was ok, but definitly the worst, is just that I would really love to see the new stuff of the books on the small screen)

  4. I knew it, ofc the books are going to be different. If the show would spoil the real ending of the books, nobody would buy his books to read it. All his writing and the long wait would have been for nothing.
