1. When I lived in Washington state, I used to fly my X5 EPIK (and other drones for that matter) when it was snowing simply because the videos were just flat out gorgeous! 🙂

   Now that I live in Fresno CA. (where it got to 119°F (48.3°C) last week), my days of flying in the snow have come to an end. 🙁

8. Appreciate you doing videos in the cold! I'm Canadian as well and waiting for spring to fly is out of the question! Maybe a Canadian company could produce a winterized drone for the world.

14. Hi Captain Drone. I purchased my 1st drone and it was the JJPro X5 with 3-batteries and a carry case at GearBest. When I went to the FAA registration sit to register the drone (required in the USA if more than 250g weight), they asked for a Serial Number. I could not find a SN anywhere on the drone or inside the battery compartment. Also since I bought the 'package deal' with the case, the drone did not come in it's normal commercial box, but rather a plain cardboard box with no markings on it that held the case and the drone was in the case. Needless to say, I found no documentation on the packaging or the drone for a Serial Number. The only thing that looks like it may be a SN are the digits at the end of the WiFi SID. Mine SID was "drone-#a##A", where '#' corresponds to a numerical digit, the 'a' corresponds to a lower case letter character, and 'A' corresponds to a capital letter character. Since you have received these drones in their normal packaging, I wonder if you can confirm whether JJRC puts the SN on the end of the WiFi SID. If not, any suggestion as to how to find the SN? I even tried seeing if it was reported by the JJRC X app (on an iPhone) or anywhere in my purchase receipt from GearBest to no avail Any help or suggestions that you (or anyone reading this comment) can provide would be appreciated!

19. I bought that drone but the weather's a bit cold here in England at the momeņt, and I got to upgrade my phone so I can pick up the video I seen the original google pixel on amazon and checked its stats so I might get that.

22. We in Finland as we do the rc hobby, we tend to freeze the planes first for while. And when they are sure on temp: then (warm) batteries in and flying. It worked at least for me with my diy 4-copter and it's gimbal ok.

Hi, Seems I would have to use this drone by line of sight not FPV because at this time I am not ready or prepared to upgrade my phone or pay extra for a dedicated FPV monitor that operates with 5G. Do you still recommend as a drone for use by line of sight and is it easy enough to obtain spare parts, propellers, motors etc.?

29. People sometimes forget that a lot of families out there can't afford DJI expensive drones and feel happy buying these drones.
    Also people buy less expensive drones to their children as a first drone. I enjoy your videos, thank you for taking the time and health risk to produce them (freezing temperatures!). May I ask, if I got a GoPro 7 what sort of inexpensive drone with GPS can use to fly around 100 mts away from the RC and 40 mts high?

31. I really admire you for being out in this. Right now at 8:45pm it’s 0F and still going down going to be around -10 with wind chill of -30 below. It’s the worst winter we’ve had so far in 3 years in Iowa. Not even going out in this. You’re a far braver man than me. Also have Ear problems in this so that doesn’t help. I wanna get this for my wife as a starter to learn to fly. In you’re opinion do you think that this is a good starting place for her? Was funny when it caught in the tree, runaway is what I would be concerned about more than anything but the price can’t be beat. As always another great video Sir!??

37. Question: This may seem like a stupid question. But I'm not that smart, so it's all good. Does this drone have the ability to transmit to goggles?

38. Oh yes, by the way ….
    I have heard that part of the new drone laws state that you will not be allowed to fly your drone on cold days and/or when its snowing.
    So by making this video, you have in effect shown yourself breaking the law. (laugh)
    But of course, these new laws come into effect in June, 2019.

    I think the actual wording is "icing" conditions.
    So if the cold temperatures are effecting how your drone is flying, as seen in this video, then it is considered illegal to fly your drone in those conditions.

44. I saw the first video with the JJPRO X5 and you were jogging around a field. You could start an exercise with drone craze. Dancing with the drone. Dronaerobics. Aerial jogging.
