“This is just the bottom of the 1st inning for $BTC” according to the Winklevoss twins – I'm surprised to hear so much FOMO from these two. I mean, really ? Best case is its around 7th inning, and the real question is, will Bitcoin keep trying, or just dial it in and head to the lockers with an easy win, at least in the 'rank speculation' game.
Now if they are talking about the adoption as an actual currency game, maybe its the first inning, if all that silk road stuff was thrown out as cheating, and the game was restarted. BTC will almost certainly lose that game. Not only does fiat and credit cards have an almost absurd lead, but there are so many alts that are better than Bitcoin in every way, why would Bitcoin ever be used like that, when the odds are so stacked against it ?
