  1. I know it's just a tiny-little thing, but you keep squinting and looking off to the right somewhere … It's somewhat off-putting… I don't know if you're reading something on a bit of paper or if it's just looking to your right, but please try to keep your eyes on your audience. As I said, just a tiny thing.

  2. One of my favourite parts of VR is the memories. Thinking back is so cool, because you think back on it as
    Being
    There.
    Being present in the world.
Flat screen video games on the other hand, you remember looking at a screen and using a controller or a mouse and keyboard. But in VR, you remember your body being in an area where it actually wasn't.
I remember controlling time in Super Hot. I remember shooting zombies in Arizona Sunshine. I remember fighting in a war in Onward. And I think it's truly amazing that the mind is still tricked to that level.

  3. Personally VR and the rating of, is completely subjective. I can't say " this is better ", or " that is better ", it varies person to person. Still i'd like to have them all 🙂

  4. I have not tried virtual reality outside of a theme park. I do wonder about the making sure wondering around in actual reality while engaged in virtual reality is safe. The room mapped out is a great step.

  5. I bought the oculus rift and its a 5 star experience. its to real for my wife and scares her to death playing on it. my son loves it and always thinks its dads but its really for the whole family. Now for me? i absolutely love it. ive always been waiting for something like this to come out and for so …………..its here. i use it in sooooo many ways,
No no no its not just for gaming but its a hell of a lot of fun, give it time or go out and get one but i promise you , you will absolutely have NO regrets getting it.
try to imagine playing your favorite racing game from behind the steering wheel or flying that jet from the cockpit Yeah guys it that real. my favorite game is Robo recall …………tops down the best video game i have ever played. And the price you may be concerned about? how many have gotten the next gen iphone every year since when ever but still roughly the same cost.
    so ?!?
yeah 5 STARS all the way.

  6. I tried VR once at a mini event. It played a roller coaster video and on the first drop I genuinely felt like the roller coaster disappeared for a second 😀

  7. Been a vive owner since July of 2016. Best purchase I've ever made in my life. I've started using photogrammetry to bring my real-life objects into VR (through Unity SDK) and ordered a few of the trackers to make my 3D prints physically real too!
If you are considering to get into VR, you can try to find a microsoft store near you to try it out (if you are impatient), otherwise, buy one! I don't know a single Vive owner that remotely regrets their purchase.
The nay-sayers are just salty peasants. Don't listen to them.

  8. followed by a couple other headsets?….lol…..vive has vastly superior head and hand tracking plus the ENITRE package has been available for much longer than the oculus……..

before you call me a vive fanboy…..i own both

  9. STEREOSCOPY IS NOT THE SAME THING AS VR!

VR requires positional sensing (6DOF) plus a virtual world modeled in 3D.

  10. the first time I tried VR, I got somewhat confused when they took off the headset and I realized I wasn't in the VR world, even though I consioucly knew that it was fake

  11. 15:00 Lol, this makes it sound like you'd be willing to throw away your integrity if you had sponsorship. Like you're only honest here because you don't have it.

  12. How do you guys convince your damn brain that it is not poisoned? Especially vertical movements like elevators. Back and forth is tolerable but up and down nooooooope. It's not scary or anything, took me about few hours before my brain figured out that that shit is not real and won't fool me but my damn inner ear keeps screaming poisoned because i see movement but don't feel it.

  13. Oculus made me nauseous despite the amazing experience. I'm looking forward to trying something that gets rid of the nausea and increases the amazing… You did a great job exploring VR and the physiology it needs to utilize.
