  3. 2019 – Foldable phones are making their first moves into the market, but are still ridiculously expensive. Modular phones have been tried several times, but have failed commercially. Mobile VR has achieved limited adoption, but the experience is far from fluent yet. Batteries still last only a day or two, but charging technology now allows phones to charge to 50% capacity in 30 minutes. In order to maximize screen size every brand has adopted The Notch a cutout for the front camera that disrupts the screen.
