  1. I knew it was Lucy O'Brien reviewing this before I watched. PlayStation Exclusive? Check

Backlash in the comments? You bet.

Seriously, I know it's opinions, but a 6 is seriously way too low if Heavy Rain got a 9 and Detroit: Become Human got an 8.

  2. Loved this game to point where I decided to platinum it, a year now I want to play it again for fun, the characters and story are amazing, still debating on getting a tattoo of this game

  3. I got the quantic dream collection last week. Just finished the game… Dont understand why its a bad game…. The non chronical story left me wanting to find out more about Jodie life and piecing it up as the game unfolding was very satifisying. I enjoy the multiple choices and endings as well. I really love story driven games and it delivered for me. My only problem was the QTE in fighting but how I see it, they made the game quite difficult and challenging and as well as thrilling to try to dodge everything compare to an arrow that was easy to do in heavy rain. Anyways, I give it a 8.

  4. Low score because of combat and reviewer felt too passive….
Its a quantic dream story game. Thats like turning on a basketball game on the tv and saying "there wasn't enough hockey, 6 out of 10."

  5. Having completed this, i can not hate this review more than i have. Thanks to this poor review its taken me 5 years to bother to try this.

Ive learned not to listen to reviewers when it comes to games like these.

  6. What is so sad about this game, is it really had the potential to do well, but with no real direction. As mentioned in this video, Ellen Page's acting is superb, the environments throughout this game are excellent. Unfortunately, what it makes up for in great acting and environment, it lacks in plot and character development. Every level feels like the beginning of the story, and just when you think this game is going somewhere you are pretty much thrown in to another prologue. The biggest mistake made in this game, is that the every decision you make changes the plot of the game scenario, is overdone. For some reason, the creators thought that this would work, but when you have a game with no plot development, and no character development, and you also have scenes in the story that look like they may play some significance later on throughout the game, you just do something entirely different in the next level i.e. another introduction. What worse is 23 alternate endings are presented, what is the point in that, again a game that had potential but with no real direction.

  7. at the beginning, i thought this game could be great…but its always the same and the story is boring AS HELL! not to mention the non existent gameplay

  8. As usual IGN misses the mark in yet another berating review of a stellar game. To add insult to injury the tone of the speaker is smug at best. Thumbs Down IGN, Thumbs Up Beyond: Two Souls.

  9. i have to disagree with this one story is interesting main character grows and you actually care for her entertaining through and through with some minor flaws she did mention one thing i agreed with and that was with aiden and his limitations some choices are not impactful as they should and some events do not have choices when they should so much potential for branching so i would give it a solid 8/10 it is one you should pick up and since it is free for ps plus there is no reason you should not

  10. I had no idea why anything happened in this game. I mean I don't even know what happened in this game. It's like a rough draft to a rough draft of a non liner generic paranormal pulp novel that you press buttons to be confused by.

  11. Found myself agreeing with most of her points, yet my overall experience was much more positive. I enjoyed the game a lot despite its flaws. Biggest pet peeve was prob that it was a bit overlong, and some parts could've been shaved off for sure.
