  1. With their questions, they really show how ignorant they are about Bitcoin, and the mission of Bitcoin. The government steals our money through inflation. Let's support a currency that the government can't control.

  2. wHy WoULd aNyOnE wANt BiTcOiN iF tHe DoLLaR iS DiGiTaL. Dumbest question ever and they clearly dont know why bitcoin has value and what the flaws of the current monetarysystem is. Keep printing like Venuzuela and see what happends to your precious Dollar, even if its digital.

  3. Bitcoin, an asset that doesn’t produce anything. People live in lala land, dreaming that one day bitcoin will become the world currency, baaaahhhhhhh. Classic example of speculation, keep on dreaming

  4. Ron Burgandy this guy sounds dumb … someone please tell me how would the government allow a currency to be uncontrollable . Once digital currency outpaces the dollar the U.S will sieze to control it all some how . Look at the gold confiscation act of 1933 in the financial crisis franklin d roosevelt put an executive order banning gold from being bought sold or exchanged to “protect the dollar “ The government decriminalized gold in the 1970s 40 years later .

  5. How is digital currency uncontrollable when the person who created it is behind it they are the central bank . It just reduced in size dramatically . From a central bank to a man with one laptop in control with 2 hands ?

  6. "…We will reach a point where the U.S. dollar will become digital…." I hope this guy is putting forth this ridiculous question (comparing apples + digital gold) simply to address the question for those who have little/no understand of…..the U.S. dollar and BTC.

  7. The problem is our big Government controls everything. Light fixtures, toilets, appliances, food, money, health care, travel, wages, retirement, education, employment, death, births, and the they spy on us. We will never be allowed to use money without there mark.

  8. Time to buy some snake oil, er, prime numbers. On the point of it being "non-debaseable": what do you think is going to happen when someone figures out quantum computers(like DARPA)? They'll be able to create bitcoin and sell bitcoin at a rate faster than the world could have previously imagined. It'll be digital toilet paper when a computer can run circles around current technology in this manner – though perhaps someday we'll say that about human brains =o

  9. When the Fed finally makes digital currency you'll be forced to be a good slave or starve. Your social credits can be turned off at a moments notice if you "vote" the wrong way or watch the wrong YouTube video and AI will be your warden.

  10. We’re in the 21st century technological globalized /multinational corporation world. Trump’s crazy temperamental swings has shown the world no one country or leader can be trusted with the global world’s economy (sanctions, trade, politics, ego, power)
The dollar will be globally dumped and operate monetary transactions in a neutral cyber currency based most likely on gold (again) independent of any one nation currency value.
Bitcoin was the pioneer of this but it will not be the one used as it is not based on gold it’s based on a speculative stock market price. To volatile for global stability.
We will go the route of a global cyber currency based on something tangible most likely gold

  11. The people will choose a currency the u.s government cant manipulate like gold and silver. When the markets go down and they will go down. Gold and silver is going to be the worlds currency. And any country who doesnt use gold and silver will have a currency backed by it. Like china and russia

  12. That guy in the blue shirt first disagrees and “does not want to get into an agrgument” and then asks the a stupid quetion showing that he does not undersatnd the fundamental of bitcoin. What does his job pay? Haha..

  13. And there it is, the Katie Couric and Briant Gumble moment. Congrats! This video will go down in infamy. The difference? You are supposed to be financial reporters with a clear understanding on how markets that you report on actually work. You, CNBC et Al, continue to show your ignorance and bias with the hope one day of saying "I told you so" but, it ain't gonna happen!
