  1. For anyone thinking of picking this up, I got an email with a coupon in it for 20% off. It is good for a very limited amount of uses. try BGLMNovice1 and you should get 20% off. bringing it down to around $132ish for the fly more version with 10 batteries. At that price it becomes pretty insane. update BGNovice1 also gets you 10% off and should have unlimited use.

  2. Okay… It's just a 1-2S whoop with 1102 and a trashcan V3 frame…
My son is a beginner and he shattered that frame in 2 flights. I think something like what we were using with brushed whoop would be heavier but more adequate for beginners…!

  3. and why would a beginner have the equipment to deal with a charger that has xt60 input?

i'd still recommend the emax tinyhawk rtf set.. even with it having less batteries.

  4. Not sure why you considered it so close to the Larva when based on the frame type, prop size, 2 x 1S batteries basically makes this a Trashcan variant.

  5. Ok, so as a RTF beginner setup, I don't think it's very good. Cheap, yes. But your radio will probably be the biggest downfall. The wild control and overall cheapness is frustrating. My Inductrix FPV+ controller was same way on acro…. Beginners may not want to have to go into betaflight and change stuff (it can be scary as a beginner), the goggles will be ok to get a taste of FPV (enough to make you want to get better goggles?)

  6. I think this kit may put a beginner off, those toy Tx's make it too hard to fly. Imo I think buying the Tinyhawk s with a qx7, and a better pair of goggles would be the better option, of course its twice the price.

  7. Very similar to my trashcan upgrades. Worry that when you say тАЬtricky, and need precision like a surgeon,тАЭ that this is not going to be good for a novice.

  8. Yep just how i made my own whoop with those motors. Seems like eachine is listening, they even ignored the crazybee FC this time… go eachine!! Now reverse engineer bytefrost plz.

  9. If you saw how runcam costumer service treated me you would never buy a runcam ever again
Stella was extremely rude to me and contradicted herself and tried to make it my mistake, telling me to go check my self and get real when I asked nicely if I could talk to someone else! Wtf!!! Plus in 8 emails there was several other extremely rude comments!!
I will be selling all 48 of my runcamтАЩs and never buy from them again!
If this happened to you you would feel exactly the same!
    IтАЩm super mad at them!??

  10. You're so right in wanting to upgrade goggles after a while. I went a slightly different route and bought myself a Tinyhawk and a QX7, with a cheap pair of goggles like these ones, probably a bit cheaper even. Now it sucks to only have about 40 minutes of flight time before the battery is stressing me out because its low. One of many little things that make me already want to upgrade my goggles this christmas. I'd say for anyone wanting to start, if you have the money just lay down 100 dollars more and get a middle class goggle, not a low class one. You'll be having fun for longer before you'll be forced to upgrade.

  11. Exciting! I'm really happy that eachine made a built to last kwad and let the user decide what they want to save up for first. Your transmitter will essentially last you 4-5 years or even more, and this bundle let's you get good and then scout around for what you are looking for. Same with the goggles. Honestly I think this is an amazing deal and kinda wish it was a thing back when I started, probably wouldn't have gone spektrum if that was the case hahaha

  12. Looks like a good little kit to get people to fall or jump down the rabbit hole… my mobula7 was $115 Canadian on sale without a runcam! Get an an Eachine fsi6 for 40$ and off you go.

  13. Nice find stew! I'm curious though. I haven't tried either but is the tinyhawk rtf bundle not better quality for just $20 more? I do have a tinyhawk s and love it.

  14. The tiny hawk rtf seems a bit better. Goggles more options, transmitter has switches instead of buttons. No turtle mode unfortunately, but I loved it when I got it and was an amazing beginner rtf. Great comfy goggles. These seem interesting at only 136 though

  15. For all you get, even if you buy it for the bird and the batteries… Especially with the discount… It's not a bad buy, tbh… Great for younger people who might just be curious about it…

  16. Hi Stew Great video and review of the Eachine Novice set. I would have loved a kit like this back when I started, except for the Google's I would have liked to see it with a EV-800 especially for adults. I would like to say that it should have a better radio but then the price will come up. But for a young kid this would be great. But for a adult, new radio and Google's ? Thanks again for the info and the comments
