  1. Its no more "secure" It depends what you do on it. When you go to Google and search or Youtube it is no different than a PC. The security issues come with websites tracking you not really the OS. Pitching this as secure is not honest at all unless you never go online with it.

  2. uBlock Origin doesn't slow things down, quite the opposite actually. It blocks ads, trackers and other malevolent connections, allowing for faster loading of the website and its contents.
