3. Those of us born in the 60's would have never been born since our parents would have been too busy thumb-humping their cell phones to go out and socialize?

It's difficult NOT to "get bogged down by the technical details" because of exactly what would have to have been different and the degree that it would have had to be different.  Much of 20th century history would have had to have been different to end up with smartphones in the 1960s.  The integrated circuit would have to have been invented no later than the time of WWI, for example.  Social mores would not have allowed much of what is on social media that far back.  Most likely, social media would have only started to become what we know it as today in the 60s because of the "free love" thing that the hippies started.  We'd probably have a situation where, by now, governmental control of social media would make it just like the general newspapers in terms of what could and could not be shown or said.  I can see a situation where there is an "internet editor" who has a team of people known to be checking everything online and limiting what can and cannot be posted and when due to tight restrictions on behavior on an eve greater scale than simply the old fashioned social etiquette.  On the upside, the whole idea of "oversharing" would not be a thing.
