I respectfully disagree with you, I understand you saying speaking about him gives him more views and attention, but the fact is the guy deleted videos pertaining to the Pitaka cases, and then said he designed a case that look exactly like the Pitaka case he reviewed, come on bro your telling me it's not shady and if not why private the only videos that relates to the case that looks like the new case you designed? no disrespect to you because I was subscribed to you before you reached a 100 subs and watched your first live stream, but I disagree with you on this one, people speaking on this are also smart enough to know that talking about the biggest tech reviewer will bring them more views as well, love and respect to you bro just wanted to share my opinion.

  12. So we gonna ignore Alibaba case isn't his case? Lol bruh people aren't on him for making a case. Its how he's claiming he made the case. Took a cheap case thats sold in bulk and then gives no credit to Pitaka. And we know this because he took down his review videos. He makes a follow up video and claims he has all these review units because he didn't like the way it comes off the phone. And how he had to calibrate and bs. He could just have said he got the idea from pitaka and fixed what he didn't like about those cases. People would have been more accepting to his case. But its a shady business move to act like Pitaka never crossed his path. Myself likes the Apple cases but hate the bottom isn't covered. So if someone makes a case and says "I liked apples but didn't like the bottom exposed" so I made my own case. Guess what a lot of people who want the bottom covered will go for this new case. But can't just say I wanted a case so I made my own and act like apple was never around. Nobody is hating he made his own case. Its how he's marketing the case. Plus to price it the same as Pitaka? He has no credibility making cases to wanna compete with a well known case maker. Me personally I would not pick his case over Pitaka because if Im paying the same price, Im gonna go for the one case maker who's been around longer. Not take my chances with a newcomer.

  13. Donald Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and lose a single voter. Lew can be a straight up fraud and not lose a single subscriber. The moral compass of human kind is pointed in an unknown direction.

  14. Ripping off the case is irrelevant. It's the deleting of videos and forcing DMCA takedowns that's shady. He's abusing the system for monetary gain. That's what we should be talking about.

  17. Couldn't agree more, so many creating drama for drama sake when there is no 100% concrete proof of any wrongdoing. Yes, he made a slightly bad judgement taking videos offline at the same time – but he has his reasoning for doing so.

    Too many people putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.

    As you've said in another comment here – if it's not right then that's something for a legal team to deal with.

  20. I agree 1000% …. people too damn focused on what others are doing instead of what they SHOULD be doing. I'm not a case reviewer but I am a tech product reviewer who has a phone his case fits so … case will be ordered. Support your fellow creators no matter the channel size because at the end of the day we are all in the same boat. Some boats are just a lil bigger then others.

I trust Lew's high standards and exacting eye, but beyond that – I recognize that buying his new case and running it on my device is a means of showing support and gratitude for years of quality content. He works his ass off on 3 channels to consistently add value to the tech space and I am happy to run his case, buy into his brand and promote it to my friends and colleagues. No one is gonna reinvent the wheel in the cell phone case market, but that wheel can be refined…and I am happy to give back to a creator who has given so much to me. If my device gets a few less scratches in the end? I'm doing great. People act as if the sky is falling. It's just a case, people.

  29. So lew 'made' a case, claims he made it himself, removes any evidence of him reviewing a similar case a few years back, and he's allowed to get away with it?

  30. Well said man, I think Lew explained himself well. It's a material, not a patented design. I love pitaka cases but there difference is they use metal plates in cases for magnetic mount. So they are different.

  38. Yeah, you’re right. They’re on Lew bad. But my thing is, there’s so many bootleg cases out there. I’ve seen countless fake OtterBox cases that look exactly like the real OtterBox cases. To me, this is the same thing. Now, I’m not sure if it’s the Pitaka case or not, but regardless, let that man make his case.
