  1. I don’t really see why this game is so hyped and why switch players are dying for it. I have a switch and I will probably never get this it looks lowkey trash imo

  3. I got a Nintendo xl 2ds from my bf for Christmas and never played animal crossing before. the game is around $30-60 here in Australia so it is pretty pricey compared to other games so I was wondering if it was actually worth the $60. my birthday is in May and not sure if I should ask him to get me this for a present. thanks ?

  4. I bought this game (Welcome Amiibo version) in June 2018 and subsequently put 700 hours into it before the end of December. My only exposure to AC was a few days on a relative's GameCube many years ago. I thought and still think it's an amazing game that I will play daily until it comes out for the Switch. Thanks for the review; it's always interesting to see the pro's opinions.

  5. Do you still have to play this game everyday lest your friends fall out with you.

I had the DS one and loved it but didn’t play it for a week and all the residents got in a huff and left

  6. "100's of hours of gameplay." is no joke. When you have a game world clock/calendar that syncs to the real world clock/calendar, you have something always happening: from holiday events, fish and bugs that can only be caught during a certain time or season…you will play this game for a year at least. Unless you are super proficient and timely or just cheat and alter your system's clock…you won't be 100% completing this game in 1 year. I have been working on my current play-through for a year and a half now and I just finally managed to get reach the peak level of town satisfaction. With thousands of different items with some being locked to events or characters, you will always have something to strive for in this game.

  7. I like how different clothing has different effects on your character. If you are wearing a t-shirt during cold weather, you'll shiver but if you wear a long sleeve shirt during hot weather you will sweat.

  8. Can I have just as much fun without multiplayer or a connecting online also a fruits and those cool Nintendo items still available to obtain without venturing outside the town?
