  2. Moto Z, years later and the battery still lasts 2-3 days, still faster than any windows 10 machine, louder than many Bluetooth speakers, makes a 70" tv on side of my house, has been dropped more times than i can count, been accidentally fully submerged several times, and only $150.00 for the same model I have today. But low self esteem may cause someone to spend $1,200 or more for a piece of garbage that can't last a day on one charge and is not technologically advanced enough for a headphone jack. Love it

  3. I just bought a second Note 4 that was like brand new (it was only used at one trade show for VR setup) for 100 bucks. I love them and there dirt cheap now but are still high quality and have a fantastic camera (even compared to new phones). My brother has a Iphone 10 and I shake my head when I hear how much he paid for it. Even 5 year old flagships make more sense to me as all I use it for is lite youtube and web-surfing along with as phone of course.

  4. Love the HTC ONE series . If you want to save money and don-t rush to buy the latest, you can get one new or refurbished at about 180 euros, flagship phone for a lot less money . I-ve got the HTC ONE M7 and it serves me from about 4 years now, excellent phone . Great screen, sound, and fast too. no problems . I do let the phone charge overnight everynight at 500 mha but that doesn-t bother me that all .

  5. Something that comes to my mind: what you see with the thermal camera is not only the surface temperature, but also the temperature of the components inside. So even though the back of the s7 may be in average warmer than the back of the moto, you pick up the fact that components in the moto are isolated and get hot inside the phone, and this heat is not transmitted to the back because it is more isolated. Which may be a good thing when touching the device but a bad thing for thermal dissipation.

  6. I really love this review. As a S7 owner, I gotta say I am biased to say anything, but being a heavy user, who plays games, edits pictures, etc on my phone, I can say it was worth it for me. My phone is holding up really well after a couple years and the battery is still really good. I don't feel the need to replace it with a new one, and this has even given me that amazing feeling of going into a phone store and not being interested in anything. I'm not a consummerist person, so I usually try to check the cost-benefit of things I buy and try to buy products that will last me at least more than 2 years, so the S7 has been for me a really good choice. Obviously, each person seeks a different thing in the products they buy so whenever there's someone looking for a new phone, I recommend a few different ones. I've had really terrible experiences with phones that weren't flagship, so I think I've been getting a better result spending a bit more (in my country the flagships and mid-range phones are almost the same price anyway)

  7. I have an S7 for a few years now, and I'm really happy with the phone. I don't think a plastic feel is too bad, but I actually prefer the glass on the S7. I only used plastic phones where you were able to change the batterie easily and I never thought Something like: "This feels so bad, I need to get GLASSS!". But yes, it's just looking better. The S7 camera though is really good and for me the winner. I think that the S7 feels warmer, (I totally know that feeling) because of the fact that you're holding it in your hand and I guess the glass is just becoming warmer more easily.

  8. Louis not understanding that all cellphones including smartphones use 8Kbit/s signal quality. It's been like this for 36 years and has not changed at all. It's like this only because no one complains about it enough.

  9. Wy is the call quality so fucking shit regardless the phones and it was only a year ago. In the Netherlands we already utilize over 4g calling with so much better quality.

  10. i use a 200 dollar phone that i bought on sale for 150 one and a half year ago. it works well enough for me, app loading is a bit slower than some of my friends with flagships, some of the animations lag a bit. it works well for reddit, clash of clans, checking emails and web browsing. and thats all i use my phone for. the only thing i regret is that the camera is shit, but id rather have a shit camera and 600 extra bucks in my pocket

  11. I find I am most satisfied with phones between $200 and $400. This is all subjective, but in that range I feel like I get a good equilibrium between performance and price.

  12. So this is a way late comment, but what I'm seeing here, is that the phone that is 3x the price, has the slight advantage processor with a newer architecture and things like that, BARELY beats a "budget" phone, and in fact loses in some areas. That's incredible, and it shows just how far we've come. I think I'll be pulling the trigger on a G7 Power soon enough.

  13. If plastic cost more they would be whining the metal backed phone gets cold and hot no matter what surface it's on, it sucks the heat out of your hand, it gets smudged, it weighs more, and just isn't that nose in air superior feeling you get with the much more expensive plastic

  14. Thanks for this video. I realize this video wasn't as popular as some of your other videos and that it probably took a few hours of your time. I would love if you could do this on a yearly (or even eery two years) basis with a few budget contenders (Nokia & Moto) vs (any flagship).

  15. Lucky you didn't do the temperature test with the note 7 ??.
But very good all round test. I'm actually interested to see the new expensive phones vs the new cheap phones. See how far they went. We all.know the price sky rocketed lol
