I have the Pocophone and the Redmi MI 9T from this list, plus the older Redmi 5 Plus from a few years ago . Needless to say I'm a big Xiaomi fan.

Based on some reviews that I've watched, it seems like the Mi 9 Lite is also a great phone from Xiaomi, even a little bit better than the Redmi Note 8 Pro and it's under $300.

Back when I purchased China phones they only worked with 3G networks in the USA. When they become compatible i may give it another try. One of mine came with a virus as well, and I didn't like that, so that made me kind of weary too. Always wanted a Meizu or Xiaomi though.
