Quit generalizing. The negative interest rates are implemented to stimulate a deflationary economy. Savers are penalized and borrowers are paid to borrow. Debt isn't a bad thing, it can be, but it's not always bad. Debt, when done responsibly, is an obligation to pay in the future, which allows the economy to grow now. So good debt is debt that is likely to be paid back and debt that adds wealth to the current economy. Bad debt is debt that is unlikely to be paid back. It will still add growth now, but if it's never paid back, well that's how you get an asset bubble where those loans were given out (see 2008).
We are in still in a bull market, at least in the United States. The DJI dropping 600 points is child's play. Especially when it's the end of Jan or beginning of Feb. It seems as though every February we have a 10-15% correction, sometimes 20-25% in some sectors. It's called tax time and profit taking after setting ATHs. Amazon just blew all expectations out of the water thanks to AWS, which is why they're a trillion dollar company once again now.
WE ARE NOT IN A FINANCIAL CRISIS. There are some sectors that are bubbly right now, but a 10-25% correction makes them look appetizing to investors again. That sector is tech right now. Specifically your Data and SaaS companies (Look at market cap of Samsung vs Apple and ponder what makes the companies different). But the market as a whole is very healthy right now. Industrials, Defense, and Energy stocks are extremely undervalued, as well as some consumer discretionary stocks. Good CFAs are 'rebalancing' rn, not pulling out of the market.
The long outlook is this: Trump gets reelected, the DJI hits ~35-37k during his 2nd term, then a Democrat wins in 2024 and we come tumbling back to ~17k slightly before or immediately after that happens due to tax cuts being reversed and fiscal policy tightening. That's the way she goes.
Btw, the ones that I'm looking for a 20-25% pullback are the ones that have defied gravity for the past quarter or so, and every mom and pop are buying (TSLA, AAPL, MSFT, etc.)
Check out FED funds rate Carl, its taking a plunge! Crash INC!!!
Can you take a peek at gold and silver charts Carl? I hold crypto and metals just would love to hear your thoughts!
Safepal and Coolwallet S are the safest hardwallets
hey man big fan of the show! you do a great job! re a free market deciding i agree in theory but my question to you is, is the market really free, considering the control and manipulation by companies and governments on the supposed free market?
moon boys all the way. Look in a bigger timeframe and will not find the cross you looking for. We were not able to keep 9500 and tester 9100 so this is 50 / 50 and not worth the risk until there was a higher high
Is money a collective hallucination ? …. YES. You got that wrong Mr. Moon. (if you answered NO, you are brainwashed.) Money is a religion, a belief system, and does NOT exist in the physical world. Green Pieces of paper exist. Math exists. But money does NOT EXIST. It is a collective world accepted belief syetem, a delusion, a hallucination, a religion, but it is NOT REAL. Neither is Government. The buildings are real. The people who put on costumes and kidnap you are real. The laws (the politician scribbles that are threats of violence if you do not obey the written commands) are real. But government is NOT REAL. You cannot point to "government", and you cannot point to "money"…. only buildings, green paper, numbers on a computer screen and other assorted real things that "masquerade" as theose two belief systems…. government and money.
Money IS definitely a collective hallucination – not that it changes anything regarding the logic of the info-graphic. It used to be collectively agreed that shells, sticks etc were money. Then people "collectively agreed" to use gold given its scarcity and durability … now they will eventually all agree on something digitally scarce going forward – and Bitcoin is clearly the chosen one.
you look like a big dumbass trying to call a financial crisis every day
Amazon pumped because they had an amazing earnings report.
Good on ya Carl ! Good information ??✌️?
Let a Bitcoin go to to trillion – it has lost it;s purpose greed has set in. I would buy a bitcoin if it would help humanity in the world not you greedy pigs.
Greed killed Bitcoin. How much money you make is all you care about. If Bitcoin died tomorrow you would find something else .
I personally am waiting for Bitcoin to go back down to prices that most people can afford! Bitcoin was for the people to help them out of poverty. You all lost sight of this. Gamble, make money of of it. I sold mine and leave you to your greed,
Amazon up because of earnings
TSX-V CSTR Cryptostar, Mining Stocks lit
Are you crazy, tell me how shutting down a whole city and maybe a country has no fundamentals in causing a crash in the markets.
Some kids need to grow up before they start to understand how the economy works.
– Stocks pump because they set good results (like amazon and tesla)
– Overall stockmarket rise because of money printing/devaluation (8% a year)
– every 35 years approx there is a consolation (crashes) that take 10 to 15 years (1930 1970 2000)
– after each crash when the stockmarket is rising significantly, gold will make a bull trap after a consolidation period (like 1987) (recency Bias)
– will money printing stop? No
– is it fair for the average person keeping money? No
– will Bitcoin take over? No, unlikely
– will Bitcoin play a larger role as alternative to cash and gold? Yes, likely
Great Video, I think is diferent 2008 at 2020, now the money is Digital, the banks have only numbers without any value, and Can print all the money they want, like say Max Keiser, they can continue print fiat money forever.
Really really simple guys! According to the data on a technical chart the S & P 500 has 2 choices. (1) Slow grind/break through 3546 ish. Or (2) have a heart wrenching collapse down to 2100 (conservative target) in the blink of an eye. My speculative measurements are suggesting a 9 month window (before Oct 2020 or just after. Conservatively). If I had to guess, I’d say there is still a bit more fuel in this exhausted, relentless puppy (3546 “kinda” inevitable). Trade safe guys ? S & P 500 Index closed $3225.53 -58.14 (-1.77%) 2/1/2020 3:27pm EST
Gold Standard back in action last week: HB 5404
Head's up, fellas.
This men made virus is just a distraction from the real problem
Amazon spike due to more people ordering online from fears of Coronavirus?
The ?, what impact will be on bitcoin if financial crisis will occur…pls tell us..so we can be prepared..
What about brexit? After Donald trump made a deal with China bitcoin went up like crazy.
Also amazon went up 10% because they beat eps expectaions by about 50%
When you were looking at the senario of if you sold when there was a bearish cross and bought when there was a bullish cross you called it "back tracking". It is actually called "back testing" which is a term i hear you miss use alot on this channel and i figured i would take this opportunity to educate you a little bit.
Ha Ha Ha! He does not understand why Amazon stock is going up !!!? Such an idiot..
LOL shiller.
I think the Dow dumped because of Brexit and the new instability of the Eurozone.
This guy has been calling the financial crisis for 2 years, one day he will be right say I told you so, lol what a joke
great videos lately Carl
3:29 reverzzzal
thank you for all information
I'm just going to follow my paid financial advisors advice and keep at least half the money in stocks. Still ok for 2020 according to him. Cost earnings ratios and other indicators still good. I also hold Bitcoin and other crypto's.

Good work! Carry on!
I've noticed a few times recently that you've pointed to the top of a red candle and called it the close of the candle, whereas the top of a red candle is the opening price. I'm sure you know that, but people less experienced might be confused.
Amazon pumped because of much better than expected year results. You should do research first before talking about a subject
A financial crisis is definitely going to happen no assets can continue going up forever including Bitcoin there has to be a market crash. And for people who are saying that market crash won't happen and that the market will go up forever are just like the same people who said the 2001 dotcom bubble won't pop and the 2008 real estate market won't crash and that they will go up forever.
Possible diamond reversal pattern formed on the 4 hour.
Nonsense, If people die or get sick and can't work, who will buy btc? say, you get sick and cannot make videos for 2 weeks? you cannot produce but have to use your money to buy food and pay doctors… or you buy btc instead?
PS: the world is not Sweden. Yeah, in the future you could pay for food and doctors using btc.. but not yet. .
A financial crisis is NOT going to happen anytime soon. Not as long as trump is pumping cash into the system. Stop predicting doom.
4:09 he took a loss alright ,but not the one he expected lol
Great video Carl cheers
QE lite is the stealth QE and should really be called QE 4ever
13:14 amazon went up due to the release of the quaters financials which were way above expectation.
My theory for Amazon pumping is due to increase purchases and deliveries since China is on a lockdown, everyone forced to stay home and order goods…??♂️
Once someone says halvening I take them less seriously. Was always called a halving.
Amazon will do well during this outbreak because more people will shop at home and not go out in public.
Hey carl, but if the stocks are fed by moneyprinting, that means that bitcoin is too bubbling cause of printed money or not? Would be interesting to put those indicators with q over the btc chart
