Following the rest of Range Rover models, the last one to get a plug in hybrid option is the compact Velar. Dubbed P400e, the crossover combines efforts of a 143-horsepower electric motor, brought in motion by a 17.1kWh battery pack, and a 2-liter 4-cylinder.

#4 2021 Range Rover Evoque & Evoque Autobiography

In 2021, Evoque is finally ready to take advantage of its new Premium Transverse Architecture that allows equipping the crossover with both pure internal combustion and electrified powertrains. The all-new plug-in hybrid P300E is geared up with an electric Rear Axle Drive.

#5 2021 Range Rover

Trying to stay ahead of the global emissions regulations, Land Rover introduces a new 3.0-litre straight-six Ingenium diesel with integrated 48V mild hybrid for its flagship full-size SUV. For 2021, Range Rover also gets three special editions, Westminster, Black, Fifty, all of which are coming to US.

Fully redesigned just last year, the Discovery Sport moves into 2021 with new electric vehicle architecture, a revised selection of engines, standard driver assists, and enhanced infotainment tech. There is also a new Black edition, that adds sportier and more aggressive exterior highlights.

2021 Land Rover Defender Hard Top is the commercial version of the legendary off-roader, that is offered in 3-door 90 and the 5-door 110 body styles.

#8 2021 Range Rover Sport

Following in the footsteps of its full-size sibling, the Range Rover Sport swaps the aging Ford V8 diesels for the newly-developed mild hybrid 3-liter Ingenium mills. There are also special additions available: the aggressive SVR Carbon Edition model with exposed carbon fiber hood, and the HSE Dynamic Black with black 21-inch alloys and all-black leather interior.

  2. Avoid Jaguar Land Rover. They're unreliable. Period. You'll happier with Japanese or German cars in term of reliability. Of course there are fortunate souls who has less problems with their JLR cars. But why take the risk? Don't believe those who tell you that they've improved or free warranty. Just not worth it. This company is plain irresponsible.
