  1. I remain happy with my decision to refuse to give Nintendo my money. 60 bucks for this game is absolutely criminal. Go to hell Nintendo

  2. "Unfortunately the button controls don't really work that well"

Hm, it's almost like the game was DESIGNED for motion controls

The Silent Realms are amazing what are you talking about

  3. Okay but the tear hunts being "one of the worst parts of the game?" O.o Idk about you, but that was always one of my favorite parts.

  4. I literally don’t remember any of these “quality of life improvements” ever being an issue when I played it back in the day. The sword swings aren’t 1:1 exactly so maybe that’s why it annoyed people? Where as twilight princess was waggle tech all the way SS just let’s you choose from several directions and left-to-right options etc

  5. I'm pretty new to Nintendo. Got my first console (switch) in 2019 after being a PS fan boy my whole life. Got BOTW. Loved it. Got Links Awakening remake. Loved it. Comparing this to the 2011 version……I'm waiting for a price drop. This is insulting to consumers. Yes I bought 3D All Stars because I never got to experience those games as a kid and it's 3 games for $60. Not ONE GAME. Just very insulting that they charge $60 for this.

  6. i love that nintendo always puts in the bare minimum of effort and are like “$60 please☺️”

    so tired of them

  7. Honestly I've seen better looking mobile games. Nintendo is an absolute shambles of a company and should be ashamed that their idea of new is a HD upscale they charge full price for.

  8. If you go to setting then controllers and sensors and choose change button mapping you can change the R joy stick button (click) to L and now you can move the camera by pushing down on the right stick button. Make sure you also change L for the R button…seems weird but works great for me so far

  9. Shortly after the game originally released on the Wii, one of my younger brothers kinda forced me to play the game even though I already had plans to play the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection at the time.

  10. The tear hunts in the silent realm (I think that’s what it was called?) are awesome. They’re punishing as hell, sure, but I remember that insane nerve wracking atmosphere so well all these years later.

  11. If this game can use the sword with the button I will definitely buy this in a heart beat since it can’t I will definitely not buy this game it ain’t worth my 60 buck

  12. BOTW was the first Zelda game I never finished. I’m a completionist so open world games like that with thousands of things to collect are a nightmare for gamers like me. I will spend every moment wandering around back and forth trying not to miss anything and it becomes a drag real fast. Very happy to go back to Skyward sword and the old school Zelda formula. Also unbreakable sword that doesn’t feel useless! ??

This game is the 10 and BOTW is the 7. Sorry, but I loved every minute of it on the wii.

  13. I don’t think the trials are that bad. It actually fits right in my opinion. The theme of it is about courage which is what Link represents in essence and what you need to have to go through those trials.

  14. I am inclined to think that most people who had control problems on the Wii version may have had faulty controllers. I played it on a new console and didn't have any problems at all. In fact, I was blown away at how well it worked. I absolutely loved the game. As a huge Zelda fan, I think Skyward Sword is my favorite game… or perhaps second behind Zelda: A Link To The Past. The game received rave reviews but was not as popular among the people. I do understand most of the complaints… the backtracking… the tear drop collecting… the slow start. However, to me, the game felt very fresh in a series that had little innovation since Ocarina of Time. The graphics were amazing and quite frankly don't appear much improved two consoles later. But to me, the gameplay was amazing… the story was the best… Also the game did quite well with breaking up the monotony of going from one dungeon to another. Even with its faults, I think it still holds up with the very best Zelda games of all time.

  15. I think they should have done what Nigh did with the stances for the button-only sword play. In Nioh, you could change your stance via the D-Pad, if I recall correctly, and your stance would change the way he swung his sword.
