  1. the brief: ‘make an electric one, but make sure it’s got at least 2 engines and they are really heavy, under no circumstances can it be any good for the environment’

  2. I think the F150 Lightning or Rivian will be the most daily friendly EV truck. HummerEV and CyberTruck seem to be more of a status symbol. (Like people with G Wagons)

  3. “Meh” on towing, off-roading etc… the Hummers focus is (and rightly so) “excessiveness”…
Excessive size, weight, efficiency, price, value, attention it brings to itself… it’s like a flagship phone: you get one because you want it, not because it’s the only thing that can accomplish a task… it’s a reflection of your inner you, it’s a vehicle you get because you WILL get noticed and people will approach you and ask you questions, it is a vehicle that stands out, and can hauling a very expensive boat or carbon fiber mountain bike or kayak…
Corvettes are for old people, hummers are for dudes who wear shoes of unknown brands(to regular people)…

  4. Really excited for the Rivian. Those camping modules have me hooked! Super unnecessary, but one of the coolest things I’ve seen integrated on a adventure vehicle fresh off the line.

  5. A little frightening to see such a massive vehicle with that kind of speed! Time to upgrade my tiny civic to an SUV…
