  1. Overwatch will do fine in 2020.. relax y’all. Yes, we all know, it’s not the top esports. So does this means it needs to die? On that premise, the NHL should stop existing because it doesn’t compare to the NFL. Now.. were the franchises too expensive… yes.. I think so. But that’s water under the bridge now. That money is gone. So now it is just a question of.. can it still be profitable? I think so. Is it expensive to pay salaries and fly people everywhere and have gaming houses? Yes.. but if they can make enough money to cover that and have a bit of profit.. why stop? Also, why only the “hubs” being logical? If a city can sell out their 2-3 events then that’s all we are asking for. That’s why they are local. San Fran doesn’t need people to “fly in over the week-end”.. they have the local fans and that should be enough. The Homestands last year were more exciting than regular weeks because you had everyone in the arena rooting for the home team. Now we will get that every week. Having all games in LA wasn’t logical since those local people can’t afford to go every single game.. even when no LA team is playing.. that will no longer be the case. I for one is looking forward to this 2020 season. Go Defiant!
