3. SwSh’s main campaign feels like it a postgame. There’s hardly anything to it & it’s so boring after the rush of playing a new Pokémon game is gone. I was so bored during my play through, had to force myself to finish the game.

8. Sword and shield arent the best games there not bad tbh they just average ,like i had fun as ive beaten it 5 times but its no were near platnium hgss emerald or bw2

13. Pokémon sword n shield had the pontential to be the best there ever was if it wasn’t for such simple route structure. If they make one like this but with platinum routes this game would’ve been the top.

    5>4>3>7>6
    never played 1 or 2 but I'd say the remakes are even with gen 3 and 4.

17. It genuinely makes me angry that sword and shield out sold both Mario odyssey and Zelda breath of the wild aka two games that had actual effort put into them and actually surpassed most of their predecessors

20. The strong Pokémon in the Wild Area should be catchable no matter how many badges you have, but they shouldn’t listen to you (like traded Pokémon) until you have enough badges.

23. Skip tutorials? LOL these recent games have long ass tutorials. SwSh have the longestttt. Cant even skip the damn cutscene in the beginning. You basically sit there for 8 minutes just spamming the a and b button to. And then have linear hand walking for the next 10 minutes.

    Honestly SwSh lacks lore. Thats what made emerald, PeDiaPlat, SS, HG, GSC, so fun. It also had alot of side quest and legendaries had mini stories to them. I hope GameFreak is working on making a universal pokemon game where you can actually go to different regions. I dont even care if they revert back to 2d lol the amount of lore they could throw in this and story would be massive.

26. Have you ever seen their score for Fossil Fighters and it’s sequel, Fossil Fighters: Champions? (We don’t talk about Fossil Fighters: Frontier, it didn’t happen) The game isn’t well known, but comparing the gameplay to the IGN review is night and day. They call it a poor Pokémon ripoff that struggles to get its own footing and is just awful through and through. In the game you are a fossil Fighters who digs up and revives fossils in order to fight other fossil fighters in battles. While I won’t spoil any more plot, (you’ll just have to trust me when I say it’s good and IGN doesn’t do it justice) the battle system is entirely different, the graphics are entirely different, the plot is entirely different and the game is, while not the incredible game of the decade or anything, a fun game that’s completely standalone from Pokémon, regardless of some obvious inspiration. Maybe I see it through rose-tinted glasses due to nostalgia, but I have yet to encounter anyone who didn’t like it and I dislike how IGN said just goes “Oh you train monsters? Pokémon Clone it is.”

31. The IGN lady is inaccurate, but "8-15 hours?" I legit did a confused double take, rewound it, and laughed. This isn't accurate either. I know this because I've played it for one, and howlongtobeat.com says it averages out to 25 hours and 57 minutes. This time is most definitely accurate since the question was answered by over 1,000 people. Also don't confuse this with the DLC included in that time, because the DLC adds up to 45 hours when paired with the main story. And h he said 8-15 hours. WTF?
