7. I chose the Gear for my wife for her Note 3. She loves it.

8. I think pebble hits the spot. Price wise and everything that it does. Imo I can sacrifice taking pics with my watch, texting back on a tiny inch screen, or talking on my phone in public so everyone can hear me. Or a watch that barely last a day.

22. I have the Gear and it's constantly connected via Bluetooth to my phone and I get on average 3 days before having to charge it.

25. You're right about the first part of your comment, but sadly as of now the second part of your comment is wrong. Trust me, I truly do wish that there would be a smart-watch that does not apply to my description, but for the next 5 years or so smart watches will remain in their infancy unless there is a major design overhaul of the hardware and software of these watches. If I had to chose from an existing smart-watch it would probably be the Sony Smart-watch 2.

29. idk about the gear but as far as i know sony smartwatch 2 is waterproof up to one metre for 30 minutes and water resistant, pebble too
