  1. I think pebble hits the spot. Price wise and everything that it does. Imo I can sacrifice taking pics with my watch, texting back on a tiny inch screen, or talking on my phone in public so everyone can hear me. Or a watch that barely last a day.

  2. Galaxy Gear works with any Galaxy device running 4.3. My S3 is running official 4.3 and pairs perfectly with my friends Galaxy Gear watch. My question, is the Galaxy Gear water resistant like Sony SW2

  4. You're right about the first part of your comment, but sadly as of now the second part of your comment is wrong. Trust me, I truly do wish that there would be a smart-watch that does not apply to my description, but for the next 5 years or so smart watches will remain in their infancy unless there is a major design overhaul of the hardware and software of these watches. If I had to chose from an existing smart-watch it would probably be the Sony Smart-watch 2.

  5. You said: "smartwatch 2 is water resistant" and you're right, but it's still not water proof. Secondly, when you said:"and will work without phone as normal watch" shows that you do understand what I meant when I said that it is featureless without a phone.

  6. I was pointing out that you don't take your phone into the water so why would you take a smartwatch (smartphone watch). you need to read what the sentence is about before you comment like a fucking idiot.

  7. idk about the gear but as far as i know sony smartwatch 2 is waterproof up to one metre for 30 minutes and water resistant, pebble too

  8. thing is through, to get a nice watch(no features just time and maybe waterproof) you need to pay at least 100 pounds, why not get a smart watch then?
