  1. -VR headset needs to be wireless.

-Need a 360° treadmill for proper movement.

-Still have to wear sh_t on your head so not only do you look like an idiot, you are an idiot because you have no idea what's going on around you in real life.

-You have to have a decent sized space set up for playing.

-There are very few games that are actually fun for more than 30 mins.

-You can only play it in small increments.

-Add to all that it's expensive to buy all the equipment needed to play.

Sorry but it's not worth it in any way, shape, or form. I suppose if you have the $ or you really dig experimental tech than go for it. But for the everyday regular gamer it's not gonna sell.

  2. That’s pro-censorship, pro-corporation YouTube for ya. Don’t be surprised as anything that is damaging to the powers get flagged, deleted and the creators get harassed. That’s what happens when our government keeps giving them more power.

  3. I'll put in context: All the established game companies that thrive today are the result of beta/early access SDK risk taking businesses which fail. No first comers are thriving today. Samsung which brings new tech to the market, gets the least market share in the very tech they bring, Apple which ends up adapting it later when safe gets more market share. This is how world works, they test the might against time.

  4. The earlier VR in gaming were not very good back then, but now things are pretty decent, though the price of some VR games still a bit steep for its contents offered.

  5. This is the reason I never went through with my purchase of the Index. I went on the waiting list a couple months after Covid-19 hit or whatever and it took like 2 1/2 months to finally get that email from Valve that I had 7 days to purchase it. It would of been STUPID just to buy a $1k VR headset to play two zombie games. Arizona Sunshine and that Walking Dead game. Also, my PC room doesn't have much free space. I never got a VR headset. I have a friend who bought an Index but he literally only plays Pavlov on it, and that isn't really that good.

  6. I just want to put this out there for the world. Presence IS sickness. Meaning in the beginning of usage presence will feel incredible, almost magical(along with the chance of becoming sick). But, once your brain get's used to it the sickness totally goes away but so does the feeling of "being there". I was an early adopter(DK1) All I can say is that it's a shame the brain figures it out. Sure was fun while it lasted. : )

  7. It’s pretty damn good now. HL Alex is one of the best games I’ve played in the last decade, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners is a deep singular experience, VTOL is the most immersive combat flight sim I’ve ever played and games like The Forest are better in VR.

  8. At least people are trying you guys all of our other technology started off the same way it just wasn’t documented via the Internet. I figure by the time we’re old men we can play awesome VR games.

  9. We need to be able to put on the headset and play games while sitting down with a controller in our hands and simply look around while we control the character as if it’s on a normal television.

  10. stood up with my knee on the psvr cord and didnt know it wasnt removable so i jostled it thankfully i didn't break it but youd think they would clarify it isnt removable for idiots like me
