  1. Tony I couldn't find any of your bhphoto affiliate links to use. I spent almost $2k upgrading my laptop and getting me a camera this Sunday. I wanted to use your links to support you and Chelsea cuz we love your channel but all I found was amazon links.

  2. Wheelers always hitting on you guys. You should visit him so he can get to know you. When he experiences your goodness and basic decency, he’ll be enlightened and you’ll have helped him to become a better man.

  3. One quick thing to note: often big sales aren’t an agressive move, but a move to clear inventory. Maybe they aren’t selling that well as they had hoped.

For instance several years ago fujifilm had massive sales on lenses several times a year. Lately they barely have any sales maybe $100 but nothing massive. Logically it’s because lately they’ve been selling so well they don’t need to do the huge sells to clear inventory.

Also at the rate sony puts out new cameras, these older ones will most likely decline in value pretty quickly. It happens everywhere in tech including camera companies, but sony in particular spits new models out all the time. So what looks like a good deal today might not be that big of a deal a few months from now.

  4. I purchased the Lr presets (all of them) and the "art in science" I have all the other books electronically, so I'm good….but I'm going to save you the carpal tunnel…don't need an autograph copy, although I might be shooting myself in the foot if it becomes a collector's item. One thing, though: The two of you are, bar none, the best photography channel on YT. The two of you provide excellent content; you give honest critiques and sometimes blunt assessments and very sound, practical advice in a way that is engaging and entertaining. My best to you both for the holidays…and thanks again!

  5. Tony talking about 4k hdr gaming monitors? Mmmm… i'll take a second opinion at LinusTechTips…
No offense. Photography stuff, I always listen the Northrups. Best in net.
(Updated) I cheked the monitor, it is only 60hz and 300nits (not true hdr) but the response time is really good and other specs are nice. Nice gaming tip, Tony.

  6. o bother have i missed the preset deal did the BF deals end midnight Friday 🙁 No Order update ive got the discount in the checkout Thanks Tony & Chelsea Bloomin Marvelous 🙂

  7. It's worth noting that the Canon m100 is a direct competitor to the Sony a5100 and is also discounted to $399 with a lens. I like it better because it has Canon's legendary dual-pixel AF. I just ordered one for my daughter who enjoys vlogging!

  8. I don't like the bias towards Canon. It's hard to take them seriously. I don't know any professionals using Canon, they either use Nikon (dslr Fx only), Fuji, or Sony. Or medium format of course.

  9. I just snagged Stunning Digital Photography for $4.99. So while everyone else is scouring the internet for Black Friday deals I scored one right here. I haven't had a chance to dive into it yet but I did take a quick look, 240 pages! This is a crazy deal and I can't wait to get started.

  10. Went ahead and ordered all your books and while it wasn't the greatest deal, our Local Camera store threw in a pretty nice camera bag and 128gb SanDisk Extreme Pro SD card and the Sony FE kit lens when you bought the A7 lll. I was considering a DSLR for my first ILC Camera but that EVF and great feature set of the Sony sold me on Mirrorless.

Question about the Books though. I bought them 1 day after Black Friday (Saturday) will they still be autographed?

  11. Thanks Tony & Chelsea. I had a good black friday this year. Snagged my self a "slight" upgrade from a Nikon D50 to a Nikon D810 (not new, but 3400 shutter activations for $1060 – around $800 cheaper than normal for much higher shutter activations where I stay) and now some of your books.

  12. Sorry guys, but you still don't really understand. The Fuji XT3 is head and shoulders above the Sony alpha system, even if it is full frame. The Fuji quality is on a whole other level in comparison to Sony (build quality, lenses, service, ergonomics). So don't say "that's the price of an X-T3" as if it was crap.

  13. Upgrading to the Sony A7R III…. struggling to decide on the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 or the Sony 24-70 GM. The vignette is real on the Tamron apparently but is it worth spending the extra $1,400 on the GM?
