  1. For me the pro is just too big. I find the regular Pixel 6 borderline too big, though that is the one I preordered and am now waiting to be delivered (no delivery date yet). Best phone size for me in recent years the pixel 3a regular, though I currently have a Pixel 3a XL.

  2. I usually have to get the biggest Pro phone out there as well, but considering you can't buy the Pixel 6 Pro right now I went ahead got the 6 and I am so glad I did because I absolutely love, love, love it! The Sorta Seafoam is beautiful and the size is just right. 6.4" is the sweet spot and it's thinner so you can reach the other side of the screen. Plus, I love the flat screen. I can actually get a glass screen protector and not the icky rubbery vinyl one you have to use on the curved screen of the Pro. Everything about this phone is amazing! The 90hz is buttery smooth and looks and feels like 120hz. You will not notice the difference in RAM, even if you're a power user like me. The screen is crisp. You can't even tell it's 1080p. It looks like 1440p. And the battery is AMAZING on just the regular 6. The battery is better on the 6 because it's only doing 1080p at 90hz vs. 1440p at 120hz. I thought not having the telephoto lens would be an issue for me, but Nope. The 2x photos on the 6 look like they were taken with an optical lens.

In summary, there is no reason to get the Pro whatsoever. You are not missing anything by getting the regular 6 (plus the colors are better). If there's anyone on the fence or not sure between the 6 and 6 Pro, let me reassure you. Do yourself a favor and save $300. You are NOT getting $300 worth of extra features on the Pro. You're getting more hassle for an unwieldy phone. Get the Pixel 6 right now and you will totally love it. (P.S. I'm a former Apple user coming from the iPhone 13 Pro Max..)

  3. Coming from previously owning a 4 XL, the 6 is perfect for me. Just the right size, along with the new bells and whistles. I was somewhat in the same boat when trying to figure out which model to upgrade to. However, not including the fact that Best Buy ONLY had the 6 in stock, the Pro's features didn't really justify the asking price when compared to the base model. I still think it's a great phone, but the regular 6 strikes a perfect balance between value proposition and a great technological experience.

  4. I can honestly say after owning and using the pixel 6 pro since last Thursday the 28 that it is not all it's cracked up to be. And neither is Android 12. I regret buying this phone. My OnePlus 7 pro is a heck of a lot better than the pixel 6 pro.

  5. Going from a pixel 2 to a pixel 6pro it wayy too big of a jump 😭 I want a small pro but both are significantly larger, figured go big or go home, not sure how I'm feeling yet

  6. So I have mostly been samsung dating back to earpy s series. My first Note was the note 8 and I loved that phone! From there i went to pixel 4 xl and i absolutely fell in love with the operating system. It was perfect! But didnt love the phone itself. My latest phone has been note 20 ultra. Ever since i went back to the note, I have missed the pixel. I wanted a note type phone with the google os and features and low and behold pixel 6 pro babyyyyyy. Literally a dream come true for me

  7. Can you compare a chromebook with samsung tab 7 plus. You might as well compare it to the acer spin 713. Apparently the samsung browser is similar to the chromebook browser but I'm not sure. No one has done it yet, maybe you could 🙂

  8. Both phones are too big for me. And Pixel 6 is too big for just a 1080p display. It’s the same size as Pixel 4XL, which had a 1440p display.

  9. The difference in size and weight seems negligible to me, the 6 is only about 5 mm shorter and 3 g lighter than the 6 Pro. Both are big and heavy to my mind, I found the size and weight of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium off-putting when I bought it 4 years ago, and it's a bit smaller and lighter than either Pixel 6. I rather wish they'd put the 6 Pro's features in the 6's form factor, shrank it down and made it less than 170 g. As it stands, I'm probably going to order the 6 Pro, as I tend to keep phones for several years and want the extra functions. The size and weight is just something I'll get used to, as I did with the Xperia.

  10. Funny how different yet the same the 6 and 6 Pro are that people have been divided between the two.

Pixel 6 is competing with the iPhone 13 because they have two rear cameras. The 6 is $200 less yet has a bigger and faster refreshing screen.

Pixel 6 Pro is competing with both the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max because of the 3 rear cameras. It's the size of the Pro Max for $100 less than the Pro.

I chose the 6 Pro because, yes it's not perfect but it's the best Google has to offer with the least comprises. The 6 isn't the best Google has but it's definitely the better bang for buck.
