  1. Smart glasses will be dope when they have:
    zoom in, zoom out
Can toggle between shade and clear lenses with the touch of a button and can adjust opacity
    Good camera and video
    Good walking GPS
    Good way of checking text
Don't really see another point of these

  2. i think this is the dumbest idea ever why people who have to wear perscription glasses wont be able to use this… and can you see the elderly wanting anything to do with this i vote mmm no they should stick with phones everyone can use get use out of but whatever this wont last long watch see inaint wrong ty…

  3. please let this be good, vr has been trying hard for years but it never really hit that itch for most, can this? i wanna spend money on it but…

  4. The battery on those glasses may actually be smaller since displays are tiny in comparison to the phones display. Not sure what % of battery is used vs rest of the processing though

  5. North already created AR glasses you could buy years ago, but Google bought them up, disccontinued the glasses, and took down the services making the glasses customers already bought unusable.
We've had the technology for a long time, it's nothing new, unfortunately Google had to ruin it.

  6. i tried out the valve index because it apparently had one of the highest resolutions of a headset, but i was kind of disappointed since the pixels were still very noticeable. looking forward to when I can't see them at all

  7. I think the only way at this point to make like regular glasses, is to run a wire to a separate unit that fits in pocket.
Or a laggy wifi direct or Bluetooth via another device.

  8. If it says Oculus on your quest then it's an Oculus Quest 2 version, if it says Meta on your quest then it's a Meta Quest 2 version. Look on the headset and/or the box for which one it is.

  9. I'm working on MR content for my fyp project using the meta quest 2. I'm always thought that why not just use a smartphone as the processing power and stream the video from the headset. And now Apple is doing exactly that. Can't wait for the Apple MR headset to launch.
