  1. I'm on my 3ed LG V phone. The G line has the same ESS DAC. Something he didn't mention is the OppO disk players all use the ESS DAC. And you can find them in 50k audiophiles listening room. And since I'm typing this in 2021, almost 2022, LG STILL has this incredible audio capability now. If you have some good cans in 2021 there's no other phones I can think of right off the bat with a headphone jack. You'll be glad you sprung for the LG.

  2. I brought lg for music, galaxy phone, and many different phone. the best phone for music is the iPhone. how ever the dap hi-res is alots better sound quality than the iPhone. Dap hi-res is clean sound, no noise. pure sound with the deep bass. smart phone is good for general music, for young boys and girls. but for adult who try to relax on ear music. portable dap hi-res is the one you must have. The Lg V30 like the sweet burger. street food. the LG v3 sound like mp3. vocal and musical is mix together, the is very terrible. Hi-res portable on ear, it is like isolated sound. you can hear the vocal, music guitar, bass, and many different sound there, all sound is clear clean to yours ear. why people bring the LG phone to this. its has the good amp but the sound is terrible, plus the amp, like the china speaker. just noise in the music.

  3. When you say audio do you mean only listening to music and the sound this phone produces or it also has a great recording for singing?

  4. Business Opportunity in Ruvol

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED and HOW YOU CAN MONETIZE IT?

I detailed everything in my YouTube video. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcqth0m3-R0

    BIG MONEY POTENTIAL IN RUVOL!

It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

  5. Hi, I have "upgraded" to a LG v40 for its overwhelmed ratings on the 3.5 jack quad dac output. It was link-up to my pretty decent tube audio system. However a group of audiophile friends and myself didn't find it better than other few "normal" standard phones we tested. There are many articles on 32bits is just marketing as we don't really hear them. If a 32bit didn't sounds superior to a 16bit or 24bit dac, but atleast it definitely sounded different with each other individual phone brands. So Can I conclude that the audio quality of a phone is very much depends on its internal amplifier and equalisation? Any expert's input will be greatly appreciated 🙂

  6. The fact theres no sony phone in here shows either you must be really bias or plan stupid sony was the first to use hi res audio ldac and so many more yet no one cares 😂

  7. What about music file formats?
I want to be able to play my music that I export from my home studio, unfortunately most phones only use their own formats which aren’t compatible with anything else.

  8. thank you for making this. audio is extremely under-reviewed in phones. i am trying desperately to find a camera for filming and their microphone recording quality is terrible. even with an external mic every phone i find applies horrible filtering & is low-bitrate etc. horrible

  9. There is only one answer to that question: LG. Show me another smartphone with HiFi Quad DAC, I don't think I ever find any. Plus, the fact that LG still retains the ever-important 3.5mm audio jack is the reason why I owned an LG.
