Steam game awards have proven without a doubt how clueless the team over there is about VR. 2021 sucked, but it didn't suck so bad that a kitchen sim was the best game of the year.

Good list! I had a ton of fun with Mask Maker. I would also suggest I expect you to die 1 & 2. The sequel came out last year and it was excellent!

Will VR ever get another game like Alyx? Or even something close? Everything is so cartoony in comparison. The market has exploded and the best we got this year was Maskmaker, really? I want another game that has great graphics that my PC runs it butter, great mechanics, has a ton of gameplay then mods to boot! Alyx ruined VR because of nothing has progressed from it. Disappointing.

Did you play Into The Radius at all? That game technically fully released in 2021 and it's great! Almost like metro in VR!
