I’m getting the 2022 Vanderhall GT. It reminds me of the classic 1920s race cars. It’s 33 thousand so it’s within my budget…
This is all just sport and recreation driving. If one of these companies really wants to break out and sell more than they can produce they need to make a 3 wheeled (2 front/1 rear) commuter version that fully protects the driver from weather that has a minimum of a 300 mile range. Electric is cool if you don't need to travel more than 25-30 miles one way. But there are literally THOUSANDS of daily commuters that travel 40 to 60 miles one way. That is about 60 to 90 minutes. The majority drive alone because the concept of everyone working exactly the same hours hasn't been a reality in 100 years. One day they will realize that a vehicle that can do this will not only serve the in town market but the business commuter as well. Imagine beinbg able to go grab a bag of groceries without it getting soaked and without needed to drive the boat in traffic.

Why are all the street legal reverse trikes hideously ugly? I've seen some futuristic prototypes that look cool but nothing on the market yet. Side by side seating ruins the aerodynamics, prefer single seaters. Take the nose of a sailplane, connect wheel hub electric motors for the 2 front wheels, a big fat rear wheel powering reverse only. Keep it as aerodynamic and uncluttered as possible. Totally electric.
As someone who is 54 and ridden every kind of motorcycle since he was 13, I don't think these should be called motorcycles.
They are all over priced.
