  1. 331 apple fanboys? 10 sec for boot up time is a little longer but i don't care about a few miliseconds. for the web browser. and from other tests i looked at nexus 7 beats the ipad 3 on some sites and vise versa. who uses a tablet for a camera anyways

  2. Wow. Did you really just edit a video and lie about bootup times? The iPad Mini does it in about 18 seconds, not 30whatever you posted.

Fucking liars. And I'm replying to my first post because Youtube commenting sucks and keeps giving me issues.

  3. Nexus does not need to be faster. Even if it can operate at a similar speed as the ipad it's a win. We're talking about a $200 tablet. It shouldn't even come close to a $500 tablet.

  4. Actually, it didn't. It may have looked like it loaded by then, but the whole page wasn't finished. If you notice in the top left where it shows the website logo is how you tell if the page is fully loaded or not. The iPad finished the full page quicker.

  5. Other than the turn on speed(which the android device was clearly faster), the speed differences aren't even worth mentioning. Apple or Android lover, anyone who makes a big deal out of their device being literally TENTHS of a second faster than another seriously needs a life. I own an iPad 3 and that doesn't make me feel good about it anymore than having to wait 6 more seconds at start up makes me feel bad about it. I bought the tablet I wanted, period.

  6. android hardwares never feel or look premium, the display isn't as good, the aesthetics aren't as good compare to apple, the built quality, the design, the feel, the battery

  7. I understand that quad means four dual means 2. so the the nexus has more. but why isn't it faster since it got more cores and i only believe it because i seen it several times with reviewers the results are always the same IPads faster, but why is it faster if its got less good things.

  8. why would anyone believe this test anyway. your only fooling yourself but anyways. non techie people side with the ipad, so you fit in. smart people side with the nexus 7. basically you have a quadcore vs a dualcore.

  9. Then why is it slower except for bootup time. excuse my Ignorance, i dont understand all the techy stuff i usually go buy what i see myself rather than on paper. so i see the apple product being faster i assume its better.

  10. Ignorant Fandroids disliking because there device lost. rather stay ignorant to the better device than see the truth. Fact is IPad is the fastest smoothest and most powerful tablet available. though expensive and big it is money well spent IMO. The truth hurts fandroids dont hate it.

  11. Yes we noticed a huge improvement with touch gestures and sensitivity. Chrome is slicker too. Thanks for your comment 🙂

  12. Have a look at our in-depth reviews and thoughts on the Microsoft Surface RT and Pro tablets on the site – there's pages and pages of what we think on there. Techradar . com and search for the stuff you want to know about exactly. Hope that helps!

  13. Yes it´s worth the difference. It has a gourgeous 2048×1536 screen with 9.7". 5MP back camera, quality aluminium body, IOS and unmatched smooth web browser experience. Nexus 7" screen it´s to small to use as a tablet.

  14. Think about it this way, nexus 7 £199 16gb iPad 3 £365 16gb well nexus technically wins because price difference £165 for a few mili seconds, Get real iPad fans

  15. I appreciate the critical research and I especially like the fact that you guys are clearly not loyal to any brand.
I personally feel like 7" is my magic tablet size. I don't want 10".. I also feel strongly that I should never pay more than $250 for a tablet.
This led me to the Samsung galaxy Tab 2, 7.0 which I love with all my heart. I CAN NOT BELIEVE that so many folks py 500$ for this ipad my jaw drops.

Can I see some similar tests with my tab2 v7.0 unit?
