  1. Dont you still need a spotter if you use the goggles? That's what kills it for me with these FPV drones, I dont want to always be begging a friend to come watch me play to be legal. Sure, you can wing it, but with the head gear on, it's going to be too late to spot Mr. Ranger coming up behind you to ask WTF you are doing. VLOS.

  2. Never done FPV, well you did pretty dang good. After owning the 3DR Solo and doubling down on failure with the GoPro drone….I left the hobby and with the added regulations have basically given up on drones. I've been wanting to get back into it, under 250g for less red tape, but I'm very interested in FPV since frankly it looks a lot more fun. Thanks for the review…I just wish there was an actual US company that actually cares about competing with DJI but much like dash cams, security cams, 360 action cams….none of them fully satisfy.

  3. 17:15 could you elaborate more on the normal mode an 'normal done shots' with that drone. Can you also do top down shots, like following a street.

One other thing. DJI says the drone supports 120fps recording in 2.7K, but I couldn't stop that setting when you showed the camera settings overlay. There was only 2.7k/100. Are there any other compromises when shooting in high FPS besides the lower resolution? Can you still use D-Cinelike at high FPS?

    Great video!

  4. Jeven, you shouldn't wear the goggles. The radiation emitted, although non-ionizing, is still very dangerous especially when sitting so close to such vital and delicate organs like the brain, the eyes, etc. I urge you and others not to wear these things. It's not safe.

  5. The motion controller is neat, but it's really annoying that the fly packages only bundle with the motion controller. Like… It's an FPV drone. What the heck DJI?

  6. Too bad they couldn't get it under 250g, the stick modes unfortunately don't offer mode 4 flying, and the whole kit is just very pricey. However the specs and overall value is pretty amazing compared to building and setting up a digital fpv cinewhoop with anywhere near the flight time, range, or ease of use…

  7. Great video! Any thoughts on getting around high frame rate flicker? Did you stop all the way down w ND32 and still flickers? I'm seeing that on most Avata films, which kind of kills it for me. Please let me know and appreciate all you do for community.

  8. Compared to the original, its slower (too slow for motor sports), its camera with a tiny increase in size has exactly the same resolution and fps, you still have to have a Licence to fly (thought it would be a "mini" fpv…. I get its place, but really not enough of an improvement. Ill stick with the original.
