23. They’re probably worried about production problems in China, shrinking margins and global recession. It makes sense to skip an update when people in Europe will be more worried about heating their homes than their phones. Power problems and lockdowns are destroying parts and assembly in China. Lastly we’re in a recession. Apple announced a month ago they weren’t going to be replacing staff that were fired and those who quit. Amazon canceled production on 40+ warehouses across the US. Even Berkshire has been buying on margin. Historically recessions are a lowering tide, not a sudden drop off. It’s not political, it reality, politics need to be left out of it.
