  1. Is it happening to mid/low tier phones too? Coz my low tier samsung has been sitting in my storage for like 6years before being repaired last year. It was only the lcd panel that needed replacement lol 😂

  2. I’m in Australia, I have a s20 and an s8 I don’t use and they’re completely fine apart from one having a smashed screen. And my mum has an s6 she doesn’t use anymore. They’re all fine. I’m not sure if our batteries are different in Australia.

  3. I have one Samsung Galaxy Young gt-s6… something, but anyway it is for kids, who start out school. And it has a removable battery and I am surprised how well it has hold up. It is good enough that you could potentially use it through out a day… But nothing too carry because it is still a decade old phone. But works still

  4. My s7 edge done same thing. Kept it in draw after I bought a new phone and got it out to sell it around 4 months later and the entire back glass had come off

  5. Atleast Indian tech youtubers haven't mentioned anything about their collections of Samsunh phones misbehaving which makes me wonder that problem is with model's which were only shipped to West coz Indian climate is much more hotter than West

  6. My current phones are a samsung galaxy A5 from 2015 and an S7 and nothing happened to either of them. I guess this is something related to storing the phones and not using them. Phones are made to be used and not for exhibitions. Therefore not cycling the batteries between charging and discharging is what causes this to happen. The electrolyte use by samsung is unique and prone to this issue since it is meant to be used, to function, otherwise it will evaporate.

  7. I think whats happening samsung phones if not used for a long time they have such a behavior.Because i replaced my s7 like 4 months ago but i didnt have this problem so probably the solution to charge ur phone like every some months
