  1. Funny how you can do a 15 minute segment on what people do on the internet and not mention porn or gambling once. Whoever solves these 2 things will win the VR race.

  2. From a standpoint as a long time creative, ve obviously been grooling over the incremental growth in the graphics of the channel 😂😂😂. Love where you're headed MKBD 👍🏽👍🏽❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

  3. The only way the metaverse happens is via standardization and open license of the user interface. Exactly like the internet we use now. Companies would operate their own virtual worlds that would comply with and connect via the metaverse like websites do via the internet today.

Basically the future of the metaverse will ultimately come down to policy and politics. Effectively there needs to be a metaverse version of the IETF—to oversee each iteration of the metaverse and transition to the next.

  4. I think a lot people are missing a crucial point to all this. How long can people wear a VR headset for without feeling nauseous? Most people I have spoken with have told me they cant spend more than an hour or two with them. I use a HTC VIVE Pro 2 for school/work training and I cant wear it for long periods of time either. At present they need to solve this issue in parallel to their Metaverse or this isn't going to be successfull in the long term. As part of product development you need to ask yourself "lets say it works perfectly. What would that look like? What is the best scenario?" Having a good product/service is only part of a much larger equation.

  5. Didn't Fb lose $255 billion in market value yesterday? I don't see the masses using VR for about never. Unless they get it free. Not everyone can afford it.

  6. Will Meta's money buy them more time if they keep hemorrhaging market value on Wall Street? They may be 5 to 10 years away from mass consumer grade devices that will attract users and data for advertisers and by then it may be too late.

  7. I really want the metaverse to happen – for working from home it would change basically everything I do on a daily basis and allow me to work more effectively.

  8. i'd be laughing too much in these vr meetings. Like if thats our future i'd be out of a job for not taking stuff serious.. It is absolutely hilarious.. animations and stuff just wow..

  9. I’ve enjoyed my time with VR, but I absolutely do not want it becoming anything other than a form of entertainment. I will be pretty discontent if all aspects of my life will start to require me wearing a headset/smart glasses
