  1. People who purchase Lucid and Tesla are paying a premium for expensive technology that looks like a Dove soap bar. All that technology what's missing is styling if they used similar styling of Lotus Evija with active spoilers like the Pagani Huayra then purchasing $250K would be a reasonable price.

  2. Yeah the aesthetics are an… acquired taste, but that also goes for many trinkets of the uber-rich, which are often grotesque. I'm sure it will sell like hotcakes among those wanting to distinguish themselves from all the peasants driving Teslas.

  3. I mean….
It wasn't that hard to one-up Tesla.
All someone had to do was build a vehicle that was well-built, knew how to go around a corner well, and had the brakes to back its performance up.
All while having better range and actually being a nice vehicle to drive

  4. The same problem exists on almost all electric sedans: the floor is too high due to battery packs, so there is no under-thigh support what do ever. The situation is a little better in lucid air compared to tesla, but with the same amount of money, I’d still go for a Mercedes gas car.
